    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku ajar Family Life Education berbasis nilai karakter pada mata kuliah Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Pengembangan buku ajar dilakukan menggunakan model ADDE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, dan Evaluation. Identifikasi kebutuhan diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan dosen pengampu dan melakukan observasi pada proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Buku ajar yang dihasilkan memuat materi Family Life Education yang terintegrasi dengan nilai karakter, disusun secara sistematis, dan dilengkapi ilustrasi serta contoh terkait sepuluh segi kehidupan keluarga. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap tampilan grafik, kebahasaan dan penyajian materi menunjukkan buku layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar bagi mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga. Uji respon pengguna yang melibatkan mahasiswa menghasilkan tingkat kepuasan rata-rata sangat tinggi yang berimplikasi bahwa buku ajar Family Life Education berbasis nilai karakter menunjukkan sangat layak, terutama dianalisis pada aspek kemudahan penggunaan, efektivitas dalam proses pembelajaran, relevansi materi, dan visualisasi. Mahasiswa setelah mempelajari buku ajar ini memberikan respon mudah dipahami, membantu pembelajaran mandiri, serta memberikan wawasan aplikatif tentang konsep Family Life Education. Saran pengguna meliputi penambahan konten interaktif dan penyederhanaan bahasa agar buku dapat diakses lebih luas. Secara keseluruhan buku Family Life Education berbasis nilai karakter menunjukkan hasil pada tingkat validasi sangat layak sebagai sumber belajar serta direkomendasikan untuk diimplementasikan pada mata kuliah Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga dengan menggunakan case method. This study aims to develop a character-based Family Life Education textbook for the Family Welfare Science course. The textbook development was conducted using the ADDE model, which consists of the phases: Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation. Needs identification was carried out through interviews with course instructors and observations of the Family Welfare Science learning process. The resulting textbook contains Family Life Education material integrated with character values, systematically arranged, and supplemented with illustrations and examples related to the ten aspects of family life. Expert validation of graphics, language, and content presentation showed that the textbook is suitable to be used as a learning resource for students in the Family Welfare Science course.User response testing involving students yielded a very high average satisfaction level, indicating that the character-based Family Life Education textbook is highly feasible. This was particularly analyzed in terms of ease of use, effectiveness in the learning process, relevance of materials, and visualization. After studying the textbook, students responded that it was easy to understand, supported independent learning, and provided practical insights into the concept of Family Life Education. Users suggested adding interactive content and simplifying the language to make the book more accessible to a broader audience.Overall, the character-based Family Life Education textbook received very feasible validation results as a learning resource and is recommended for implementation in the Family Welfare Science course using the case method.
