    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh upah minimum provinsi (UMP), investasi penanaman modal asing (PMA) dan investasi penanaman modal dalam negeri (PMDN) terhadap kesempatan kerja sektor formal di Indonesia pada tahun 2015 – 2024. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif analisis data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui teknik dokumentasi dari publikasi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal (BKPM). Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi data panel menggunakan model Generalized Least Squares (GLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upah minimum provinsi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja sektor formal di Indonesia, sedangkan investasi penanaman modal asing (PMA) dan investasi penanaman modal dalam negeri (PMDN) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja sektor formal di Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effect of the provincial minimum wage, foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic direct investment (DDI) on formal sector employment in Indonesia during the period 2015 – 2024. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method using secondary data obtained through documentation from the publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). The data analysis technique uses panel data regression with the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) method. The results show that the provincial minimum wage has a significant negative effect on formal sector employment in Indonesia, while foreign direct investment (FDI) and domestic direct investment (DDI) have significant positive effect on formal sector employment in Indonesia.
