Abstract
Model latihan drill umumnya digunakan dalam latihan yang menekankan peningkatan teknik dasar, namun jarang dimanfaatkan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian untuk mengkaji efektivitas model latihan drill sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan shooting siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh model latihan drill terhadap keterampilan shooting dalam permainan bola basket. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah one group pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel 20 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa perlakuan yang berfokus pada keterampilan shooting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan latihan drill terhadap peningkatan kemampuan shooting siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji t Paired Sample dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H1) diterima. The drill training model is generally applied in practices that emphasize the improvement of basic techniques, but it is not used to be in extracurricular activities. Therefore, research is needed to examine the effectiveness of the drill training model as in order to improve students’ shooting skills. This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of the drill training model on shooting ability in basketball games. The design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design with a total sample of 20 students selected through proportionate random sampling. The research instrument consisted of treatment focused on shooting skills. The analysis results showed a significant effect of drill training on improving students’ shooting ability. This was proven through the Paired Sample t-test with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted.
