Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter disiplin anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui pembiasaan aturan bermain RA Raihan Persis 27 Kota Tasikmalaya. Fokus kajian meliputi karakter disiplin anak, metode dan strategi guru, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta implikasi penerapan pembiasaan aturan bermain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam kepala sekolah dan guru, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik grounded theory (open coding, axial coding, dan selective coding) untuk menemukan pola hubungan antar kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan aturan bermain diterapkan secara konsisten melalui kegiatan harian dan bersifat partisipatif, sehingga anak lebih memahami dan mematuhi aturan dengan kesadaran sendiri. Faktor pendukung meliputi keteladanan guru, keterlibatan orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif, sedangkan hambatan berasal dari perbedaan pola asuh di rumah dan kebiasaan negatif anak di luar sekolah. Implikasi penerapan ini terlihat pada peningkatan kemampuan anak dalam menunggu giliran, merapikan mainan, dan mematuhi instruksi guru. Kesimpulannya, pembiasaan aturan bermain menjadi strategi efektif dalam membentuk karakter disiplin anak usia dini apabila dilaksanakan secara konsisten, kolaboratif, dan sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. This study aims to describe the disciplinary characteristics of children aged 4-5 years through the implementation of play rules at RA Raihan Persis 27 in Tasikmalaya City. The focus of the study includes children's disciplinary characteristics, teachers' methods and strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the implications of implementing play rules. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the school principal and teachers, and documentation, then analyzed using grounded theory techniques (open coding, axial coding, and selective coding) to identify patterns of relationships between categories. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of play rules is consistently applied through daily activities and is participatory in nature, enabling children to better understand and comply with rules out of their own awareness. Supporting factors include teacher modeling, parental involvement, and a conducive school environment, while barriers stem from differences in parenting styles at home and children's negative habits outside of school. The implications of this implementation are evident in the improvement of children's ability to wait their turn, tidy up toys, and follow teachers' instructions. In conclusion, the habit of playing rules is an effective strategy in shaping the discipline of young children if implemented consistently, collaboratively, and in accordance with the children's developmental stage.
