Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA yang pencapaiannya hanya 35,8% siswa yang tuntas memenuhi nilai KKM mata pelajaran IPA. Selain itu, guru masih menggunakan metode yang bersifat teacher centered, yaitu metode ceramah. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai ialah, (1) mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada mata pelajaran IPA materi gaya dan (2) mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada mata pelajaran IPA materi gaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis&Taggart dengan jumlah tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri 3 Cibodas Lembang dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 39 orang. Instrumen pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah berupa tes, lembar observasi (observasi guru dan lembar observasi siswa), dan lembar angket. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing ditunjukkan dengan perencanaan setiap siklusnya yang mengalami perbaikan berdasarkan hasil refleksi di siklus sebelumnya. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat dilihat dari aktivitas guru dan siswa pada setiap siklusnya yang mengalami peningkatan. Pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata 63,07 dengan ketuntasan 59%, siklus II mencapai rata-rata 70,83% dengan ketuntasan 66,6% dan siklus III mencapai rata-rata 80,73 dengan ketuntasan 97,4%. Adapun hasil belajar afektif siswa di siklus I mencapai 63,6%, siklus II mencapai 68,9% dan siklus III mencapai 75,7%. Hasil belajar psikomotor siswa pada siklus I mencapai 67,7%, siklus II 70,4 dan siklus III mencapai 78,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA materi gaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, terdapat saran yang hendak disampaikan yaitu guru atau peneliti lain yang akan melakukan pembelajaran IPA untuk mempertimbangkan penggunaan model pembelajaran, seperti model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang sudah terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar siswa, mata pelajaran IPA materi gaya ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in science learning achievement that only 35.8% of students who completed courses meet KKM in science. In addition, teachers are still using methods that are teacher centered, that is lecture method. Based on these problems, the research objectives are to be achieved, (1) know the description of the implementation of learning by implementing guided inquiry learning model in teaching science material style and (2) determine how much improving student learning outcomes after implementing guided inquiry learning model in teaching science material stylish. The method used in this research is a classroom action research Kemmis & Taggart adapt the model to the number of three cycles. The subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 B Cibodas Lembang by the number of students as much as 39 people. Learning instrument used was a test, observation sheet (teacher observation and student observation sheet), and a questionnaire sheet. The results using guided inquiry learning model is shown with each cycle of planning that have improved based on the reflection in the previous cycle. Implementation of learning using guided inquiry learning model can be viewed from all teachers and students at each cycle are increasing. Cognitive learning achievement of students in the first cycle at an average of 63.07 with 59% completeness, the second cycle at an average of 70.83% with 66.6% completeness and third cycle at an average of 80.73 with 97 mastery, 4%. The affective student learning outcomes in the first cycle reaches 63.6%, reaching 68.9% second cycle and third cycle reaches 75.7%. Psychomotor learning outcomes of students in the first cycle reaches 67.7%, 70.4 second cycle and third cycle reaches 78.1%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry learning model can improve student learning outcomes in science teaching material stylish. Based on these results, there is a suggestion that would be submitted that is teachers or other researchers who will conduct the science lesson to consider the use of learning models, such as guided inquiry learning model that has been proven to improve student learning outcomes.
