Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa di Kota Bandung. Hal ini ditunjukan dari nilai rata-rata pada hasil Ujian Nasional SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013, yang mengalami penurunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran umum kompetensi guru ekonomi di SMA Negeri Kota Bandung, dilihat dari kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian, dan kompetensi sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di 27 SMA Negeri Kota Bandung, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 25 guru mata pelajaran ekonomi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara umum kompetensi guru mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri Kota Bandung dalam kategori tinggi. Kompetensi Pedagogik guru menunjukan kategori sedang. Kompetensi Profesional guru menunjukan kategori sedang. Kompetensi Kepribadian guru menunjukan kategori tinggi. Kompetensi Sosial guru menunjukan kategori tinggi. Penelitian ini ,merekomendasikan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian, dan kompetensi sosial harus dikuasai secara baik oleh setiap guru sehingga memberikan hasil belajar yang optimal. Kata kunci : Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kompetensi Profesional, Kompetens Kepribadian, Kompetensi Sosial This research was motivated by low student learning outcomes in Bandung. It is shown from the average value on the results of national examination in Bandung’s Senior High Schools period 2012/2013, which experienced a decline. The purpose of this research is to know the general description of the competence of Economics Teacher in Bandung’s Senior High Schools, who will be seen in the pedagogic competence, professional competence, personality competence, and social competency. The method that is used is descriptive. This research was conducted in 27 Senior High Schools in Bandung, with the number of respondents as many as 25 teachers of economic subjects. Data collection is done using questionnaire. The Results of the research indicate the competencies of Economics Teachers in Bandung Senior High Schools in the high category generally. The Pedagogic Competence of Teacher in the medium category. The Professional Competence of Teacher in the medium category. The Personality Competence of Teacher in the high category. The Social competence of teachers in high category. This research,recommending that pedagogic competence, professional competence, personality competence, dan social competency must be well mastered by each teacher so that it delivers the optimal learning outcomes.
