Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan Bocce terhadap pengembangan keterampilan motorik kasar anak tunagrahita di SLBN A Citeureup Cimahi. Permainan Bocce dipilih sebagai intervensi karena sifatnya yang sederhana, menyenangkan, dan mudah dimodifikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah enam siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus tunagrahita (downsyndrome) jenjang sekolah dasar. Instrumen yang digunakan mengacu pada buku Gallahue (1993) yang mencakup tiga aspek keterampilan motorik: lokomotor, non-lokomotor, dan manipulatif. Perlakuan dilakukan selama delapan pertemuan, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif serta uji Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada subjek penelitian setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa permainan Bocce. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan efektivitas permainan Bocce dalam membantu pengembangan keterampilan motorik kasar pada anak tunagrahita. Dengan demikian, permainan Bocce dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif, menyenangkan, dan inklusif dalam pendidikan jasmani anak berkebutuhan khusus. This research aims to determine the effect of the Bocce game on the development of gross motor skills in children with intellectual disabilities at SLBN A Citeureup Cimahi. The Bocce game was chosen as an intervention because of its simple, enjoyable, and easily modifiable nature. This study uses a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of six students with special needs, specifically those with Down syndrome, at the elementary school level. The instruments used refer to Gallahue's book (1993), which includes three aspects of motor skills: locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative. The treatment was conducted over eight sessions, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests and the Paired Sample T-Test. The research results show a significant improvement in the research subjects after being treated with the Bocce game. This improvement reflects the effectiveness of the Bocce game in helping the development of gross motor skills in children with intellectual disabilities. Thus, the game of Bocce can be used as an alternative adaptive, enjoyable, and inclusive learning strategy in physical education for children with special needs.
