    Abstract

    Pendidikan merupakan hal yang penting bagi tiap individu. Indonesia memiliki program wajib belajar 12 tahun, namun tingkat pendidikan di Indonesia masih cenderung rendah dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Salah satu strategi pengembangan pendidikan menurut KEMENDIKBUD adalah dengan melibatkan siswa dalam menciptakan proses belajar yang menyenangkan. Untuk anak usia sekolah dasar, secara psikologis lebih cepat belajar dan mampu merekam dengan baik jika mereka mendapatkan ilmu berdasarkan pengalaman mereka sendiri di lingkungannya. Maka, dengan dirancangnya sekolah alam, diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi dan menjadi alternatif sekolah yang cocok dengan karakter anak usia sekolah dasar. Sekolah alam memiliki kurikulum yang berbeda dengan sekolah umum. Selain menerapkan kurikulum sekolah umum dari KEMENDIKBUD, sekolah alam juga memiliki kurikulum khusus seperti akhlak, logika, kepemimpinan, dan mental bisnis. Perancangan ini akan menggunakan tema Arsitektur Biofilik. Pemilihan tema didasari dengan adanya kesamaan tujuan antara sekolah alam dan arsitektur biofilik. Sehingga arsitektur biofilik dapat membantu sekolah alam untuk mencapai tujuannya, yaitu pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dengan menggunakan alam sebagai media pengembangannya. Penerapan arsitektur biofilik pada desain didasari oleh prinsip-prinsip biofilik bagi psikologi dan perkembangan belajar anak usia sekolah dasar. Metode perancangan diawali dengan penentuan topik dan tema, skoring, pemilihan lokasi, analisis tapak, sintesis desain, perancangan konsep, dan akhirnya akan menghasilkan luaran perancangan sekolah alam. Lokasi perancangan yang terpilih adalah Kecamatan Ujung Berung, Kota Bandung. Hal ini didasari oleh kesesuaian regulasi dan rencana pengembanagan, serta kesesuaian kebutuhan pembangunan sekolah di Kecamatan Ujung Berung. Perancangan sekolah alam juga memerhatikan konsep-konsep rancangan seperti konsep rancangan tapak, konsep rancangan bentuk, rancangan struktur, utilitas, dan ekonomi bangunan. Education is important for every individual. Indonesia has a 12-year compulsory education program, but the level of education in Indonesia is still relatively low compared to other countries. One of the education development strategies according to the Ministry of Education and Culture is to involve students in creating an enjoyable learning process. For elementary school-aged children, psychologically, they learn faster and are better able to retain knowledge if they acquire it through their own experiences in their environment. Therefore, the design of nature schools is intended to facilitate and serve as an alternative educational option that aligns with the characteristics of elementary school-aged children. Nature schools have a different curriculum from public schools. In addition to implementing the public school curriculum from the Ministry of Education and Culture, nature schools also have special curricula such as ethics, logic, leadership, and business mentality. This design will use the theme of Biophilic Architecture. The selection of the theme is based on the shared objectives between nature schools and biophilic architecture. Thus, biophilic architecture can assist nature schools in achieving their goals, namely enjoyable learning using nature as a developmental medium. The application of biophilic architecture in the design is based on biophilic principles for the psychology and learning development of elementary school-aged children. The design method begins with topic and theme selection, scoring, site selection, site analysis, design synthesis, concept design, and ultimately produces the final design output for the nature school. The selected design location is Ujung Berung District, Bandung City. This is based on regulatory compliance and development plans, as well as the suitability of school construction needs in Ujung Berung District. The design of the nature school also considers design concepts such as site design concepts, form design concepts, structural design, utilities, and building economics.
