Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian dilatarbelakangi dengan pentingnya pengembangan kemampuan abad 21, khususnya pada elemen berpikir kreatif, yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran seni tari. Observasi awal pada masalah yang ditemukan oleh guru, siswa terbiasa untuk meniru tanpa menciptakan, sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dan tidak terfasilitasi untuk mengembangkan potensi berpikir kreatifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan model ReCODE (Reading, Connecting, Observing, Discussion, Evaluation) dalam pembelajaran tari untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-experimental design jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-E SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua yang berjumlah 36 orang. Instrumen penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan tes kreativitas berdasarkan indikator Guilford (fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada kreativitas siswa setelah diterapkan model ReCODE dalam pembelajaran tari. Rata-rata nilai pretest siswa adalah 8,97 meningkat menjadi 27,36 pada posttest. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ReCODE mampu menstimulasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam eksplorasi ide, gerak, diskusi, serta evaluasi diri dalam pembelajaran tari, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap pengembangan kreativitas mereka. Dengan demikian, model ReCODE terbukti efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran seni tari sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. ABSTRACT The research was motivated by the importance of developing 21st century skills, particularly creative thinking, which can be enhanced through dance education. Initial observations of problems identified by teachers revealed that students were accustomed to imitating rather than creating, resulting in a lack of motivation and insufficient facilitation for developing their creative thinking potential. This study aims to describe and analyze the application of the ReCODE model (Reading, Connecting, Observing, Discussion, Evaluation) in dance education to enhance students' creative thinking skills at SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type. The research subjects are 36 students from class X-E at SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua. The research instrumens include observation, interviews, and a creative thinking skills test based on Guilford's indicators (fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration). Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests with the assistance of IBM SPSS 24 software. The results showed a significant increase in students' creative thinking skills after the ReCODE model was applied in dance education. The average pretest score was 8.97, increasing to 27.36 in the posttest. This indicates that the application of the ReCODE model is able to stimulate students to be more active in exploring ideas, movements, discussions, and self-evaluation in dance learning, thereby positively impacting the development of their creativity. Thus, the ReCODE model has been proven effective when applied in dance education as an innovative alternative for improving students' creative thinking skills.
