    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh upaya Pemerintah Indonesia yang bekerja sama dengan Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia dalam meningkatkan Indeks Pembangunan Literasi Masyarakat (IPLM) di Indonesia dengan membentuk Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Desa/Kelurahan. Tren positif yang terjadi di Kabupaten Kuningan dengan meningkatnya Indeks Pembangunan Literasi Masyarakat (IPLM) pada tahun 2024 dan meningkatnya jumlah pemustaka pada Perpustakaan Jendela Dunia menjadi tujuan peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi sejauh mana Perpustakaan Jendela Dunia mengimplementasikan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Desa/Kelurahan Nomor 2 Tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling yang menghasilkan delapan informan meliputi Kepala Perpustakaan, Pustakawan, Kepala Desa, dan Pemustaka. Indikator yang ada pada Standar Nasional Perpustakaa Desa/Kelurahan Nomor 2 Tahun 2024 digunakan untuk melihat strategi dan kekurangan Perpustakaan dalam menerapkan standar tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan Jendela Dunia telah mengimplementasikan Standar Nasional Perpustakaan Desa/Kelurahan Nomor 2 Tahun 2024 meliputi indikator koleksi, sarana prasarana, layanan, tenaga perpustakaan, penyelenggaraan, pengelolaan, inovasi dan kreativitas perpustakan, tingkat kegemaran membaca, serta indeks pembangunan literasi masyarakat, sehingga kepuasan pemustaka terpenuhi. This research is motivated by the efforts of the Indonesian Government, in collaboration with the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, to improve the Community Literacy Development Index (IPLM) in Indonesia by establishing the National Standard for Village/Sub-District Libraries. The positive trend in Kuningan Regency, with an increase in the Community Literacy Development Index (IPLM) in 2024 and an increasing number of users at the Jendela Dunia Library, led the researcher to explore the extent to which the Jendela Dunia Library has implemented the National Standard for Village/Sub-District Libraries Number 2 of 2024. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Research informants were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in eight informants: the Head of the Library, a Librarian, a Village Head, and a Library User. Indicators in the National Standards for Village/Sub-District Libraries Number 2 of 2024 were used to examine the library's strategies and shortcomings in implementing these standards. The results of this study indicate that the Jendela Dunia Library has implemented these standards effectively, including indicators for collections, infrastructure, services, library staff, organization, management, library innovation and creativity, reading habits, and the community literacy development index.
