    Abstract

    Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui implementasi teknik asertif dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa kelas V SDN Pondok Bahar 6 Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis narrative inquiry untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman dan narasi siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran. Penelitian ini melibatkan 28 orang siswa kelas V yang hendak diamati dalam sikap dan tindakan selama proses pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik asertif secara bertahap mampu membantu siswa mengungkapkan pendapat, mempertahankan haknya tanpa merugikan orang lain, serta membangun hubungan sosial yang lebih positif. Perubahan positif terlihat pada peningkatan partisipasi siswa dalam kelas, keberanian berbicara di depan umum, dan pengambilan keputusan secara mandiri. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa teknik asertif dapat menjadi strategi efektif bagi pendidik dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya melalui pembelajaran yang interaktif dan partisipatif. This study aims to determine the implementation of assertive techniques in improving the self-confidence of fifth-grade students at SDN Pondok Bahar 6 Tangerang. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with narrative inquiry analysis techniques to understand in depth the experiences and narratives of students in the context of learning. The study involved 28 fifth-grade students who were observed in their attitudes and behaviors during the learning process. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the gradual application of assertive techniques can help students express their opinions, defend their rights without harming others, and build more positive social relationships. Positive changes were seen in increased student participation in class, courage to speak in public, and independent decision-making. The implications of this study confirm that assertive techniques can be an effective strategy for educators in increasing self-confidence at the elementary school level, particularly through interactive and participatory learning.
