Abstract
Tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan SMK menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja masih perlu ditingkatkan, khususnya di bidang konstruksi yang kini menuntut penguasaan teknologi digital seperti Building Information Modeling (BIM). Penelitian mengkaji pengaruh pemahaman BIM terhadap kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja di SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon, dengan fokus pada penggunaan perangkat lunak Autodesk Revit sebagai representasi teknologi BIM yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman BIM terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XI program keahlian DPIB SMK 1 Negeri Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 125 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 95 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penilaian pemahaman BIM dan kuesioner kesiapan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh gambaran pemahaman BIM berada pada kategori Kompeten dengan skor 84%, sementara gambaran kesiapan kerja siswa tergolong Siap dengan skor 80%. Hasil analisis regresi dengan persamaan Ŷ = 26,154 + 0,477X mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman BIM dengan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa setiap peningkatan pemahaman BIM akan meningkatkan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam perancangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di SMK serta menjadi dasar pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan kejuruan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri konstruksi masa kini. The high unemployment rate among vocational high school (SMK) graduates indicates that students' readiness to enter the workforce still needs to be improved, especially in the construction sector, which increasingly demands mastery of digital technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM). This study examines the influence of BIM understanding on students’ readiness to enter the workforce at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon, focusing on the use of Autodesk Revit software as a representation of BIM technology implemented in classroom learning activities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of BIM understanding on the work readiness of 11th grade students in the DPIB program at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon. The study employed an associative method with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 125 students enrolled in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a sample of 95 students selected through simple random sampling. Data collection techniques included BIM competency assessments and work readiness questionnaires. The results showed that students’ BIM understanding was categorized as Competent, with a score of 84%, while their work readiness was categorized as Ready, with a score of 80%. The regression analysis yielded the equation Ŷ = 26.154 + 0.477X, indicating a significant positive influence of BIM understanding on students’ work readiness. These findings suggest that an increase in BIM understanding corresponds with an increase in students’ readiness to enter the workforce. This research is expected to contribute to the design of technology-based learning in vocational schools and to serve as a foundation for the development of vocational education policies aligned with the current demands of the construction industry.
