Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena academic burnout yang kerap dialami oleh mahasiswa akhir akibat tuntutan dari beban tugas akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran beban tugas akademik pada mahasiswa dan gambaran academic burnout pada mahasiswa, serta untuk mengetahui besaran pengaruh beban tugas akademik terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 80 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan theil-sen estimator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban tugas akademik pada mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 40% dan academic burnout yang dialami mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 40%. Uji theil-sen estimator mengungkapkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara beban tugas akademik terhadap academic burnout. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y ̂ = 7,1373 + 0,9608X, yang menunjukkan bahwa setiap peningkatan satu unit skor beban tugas akademik akan meningkatkan skor academic burnout sebesar 0,9608. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi beban tugas akademik, maka akan semakin tinggi juga academic burnout yang dialami oleh mahasiswa. This study is motivated by the phenomenon in academic burnout which is often experienced by final students due to the demands in academic workload. The purpose in this study was to look at the description in academic workload in students and the description in academic burnout in students, as well as to determine the amount in influence in academic workload on academic burnout in students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The sample in this study amounted to 80 students selected using saturated sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and theil-sen estimator. The results showed that the academic task load on students was in the moderate category with a percentage in 40% and academic burnout experienced by students was in the moderate category with a percentage of 40%. The theil-sen estimator test revealed that there is a positive and significant influence between academic task load on academic burnout. The regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 7.1373 + 0.9608X, which indicates that each increase in one unit in academic task load score will increase the academic burnout score by 0.9608. This means that the higher the academic task load, the higher the academic burnout experienced by students.
