    Abstract

Field observations indicate that Student Worksheets for reading in elementary schools are still conventional, containing only practice questions without reading strategies, lacking interactivity, and not yet adapted to the characteristics of the students. Meanwhile, digital student worksheets, despite their attractive appearance, are not yet integrated with systematic reading strategies. This situation necessitates the development of worksheets that are both engaging and capable of guiding students to understand texts systematically. This study aimed to develop a digital student worksheet based on the SQ3R strategy (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) to support nonfiction reading instruction in primary schools. The research employed the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with data collected through observation, document analysis, interviews, expert validation, and user response questionnaires. The study was conducted in five primary schools in Cluster 1, Karangnunggal District. Results indicate that: (1) needs analysis revealed the necessity of an interactive and structured student worksheet; (2) the student worksheet design was aligned with the curriculum, SQ3R principles, and student characteristics; (3) validation showed the worksheet is highly feasible for use (91.6% by content experts and 96% by media experts); (4) implementation received positive responses with a practicality score of 89.24%; and (5) data triangulation confirmed the feasibility and practicality of the SQ3R-based digital worksheet, although improvements are needed in the visualization of the Survey stage. In conclusion, the SQ3R-based digital student worksheet successfully addresses limitations of conventional worksheets in supporting reading instruction. The product is feasible and practical, although challenges remain in the Recite stage and the use of audio features for student responses. Further development with more comprehensive features is recommended.
