PENGARUH PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KEDISIPLINAN SISWA SMK NEGERI 5 KOTA BANDUNG Oleh, Rizalludin – NIM 2103025 rizalludin@upi.edu Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Fakultas Pendidikan Teknik dan Industri, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter adalah upaya sistematis untuk membentuk kepribadian siswa agar memiliki nilai-nilai luhur seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kerja keras. Di SMK, pendidikan karakter menjadi peran penting karena lulusannya dipersiapkan memasuki dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh program pendidikan karakter terhadap motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan siswa di SMKN 5 Kota Bandung khususnya pada program keahlian DPIB. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 65 siswa dari total populasi 168 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana serta regresi multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi pendidikan karakter berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik” dengan perolehan skor 83,4%. Motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan juga berada dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”, masing-masing dengan skor 81,41% dan 82,15%. Analisis regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar dengan persamaan Y1 = 13,738 + 0,725 X dan Y2 = 19,281 + 0,616 X. Adapun hasil analisis regresi multivariat dengan persamaan Y1 = 12,53 + 0,272 X + e1 dan Y2 = 15,1 + 0,256 X + e2 serta R2 sebesar 51,8% terhadap motivasi belajar dan terhadap kedisiplinan siswa memiliki R2 sebesar 36,8%. Uji F menunjukkan F hitung > F tabel, yang berarti pendidikan karakter berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan siswa di SMKN 5 Kota Bandung. This study aims to analyze the effect of character education programs on student learning motivation and discipline at SMKN 5 Bandung, specifically in the DPIB expertise program. The research sample was 65 students from a total population of 168 students. The method used was quantitative descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis as well as multivariate regression. The results showed that the implementation of character education was in the "Very Good" category with a score of 83,4%. Learning motivation and discipline were also in the "Very Good" category, with scores of 81,41% and 82,15%, respectively. Linear regression analysis shows that character education has an effect on learning motivation with the equation Y1 = 13,738 + 0,725 X and Y2 = 19,281 + 0,616 X. The results of the multivariate regression analysis with the equation Y1 = 12,53 + 0,272 X + e1 and Y2 = 15,1 + 0,256 X + e2 and R2 of 51.8% on learning motivation and on student discipline have R2 of 36.8%. The F test shows F count > F table, which means character education has a significant effect on learning motivation and student discipline at SMKN 5 Bandung.
