Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kajian Etnokoreologi Tari Goyang Mamarung Karya Abah Nanu Munajar”. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti tentang berkurangnya eksitensi Tari Goyang Mamarung sehingga permasalahan tersebut dituangkan dalam bentuk pertanyaan mengenai bagaimana ide penciptaan pada Tari Goyang Mamarung, bagaimana rias dan busana yang terdapat pada Tari Goyang Mamarung. Narasumber utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu Mas Nanu Munajar selaku pencipta Tari Goyang Mamarung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data menganai ide penciptaan, rias dan busana pada tarian tersebut kemudian mendeskripsikannya melalui kajian mendalam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalam metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualiatif yang dikaji melalui pendekatan etnokoreologi didukung dengan beberapa teori yang lainnya. Berdasarkan pendekatan etnokoreologi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Tari Goyang Mamarung merupakan setumpuk teks dan konteks yang dapat dibaca sehingga dapat dipahami serta peneliti multitafsir gerak, rias dan busananya. This research is entitled "Ethnochoreological Study of Goyang Mamarung Dance by Abah Nanu Munajar". This research is motivated by the results of researchers regarding the decreasing existence of Goyang Mamarung Dance so that the problem is expressed in the form of main questions regarding how the idea of creation in Goyang Mamarung Dance, how the makeup and costumes are in Goyang Mamarung Dance. The main resource person in this research is Mas Nanu Munajar as the creator of Goyang Mamarung Dance. This research aims to obtain data regarding the idea of creation, makeup and costumes in the dance and then describe them through in-depth study. The method used in this research is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach that is studied through an ethnochoreological approach supported by several other theories. Based on the ethnochoreological approach, it can be concluded that Goyang Mamarung Dance is a collection of texts and contexts that can be read so that it can be understood and researchers have multiple interpretations of movement, makeup and costumes.
