    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis orangtua dengan capaian dimensi mandiri profil pelajar pancasila pada anak usia dini di TK Kecamatan Cipedes, Kota Tasikmalaya. Fenomena yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya pencapaian karakter mandiri pada anak usia dini, di mana banyak anak masih bergantung pada bantuan orang dewasa dalam menyelesaikan aktivitas sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, serta teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket. Angket diberikan kepada orangtua untuk mengukur pola asuh demokratis yang diterapkan di rumah, dan kepada guru untuk menilai capaian dimensi mandiri anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis orangtua di TK Kecamatan Cipedes berada pada kategori sedang. Capaian dimensi mandiri profil pelajar pancasila pada anak usia dini juga berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang sedang dan signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis orangtua dengan capaian dimensi mandiri profil pelajar pancasila pada anak usia dini, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,502 dan signifikansi <,001. Dengan demikian, semakin baik penerapan pola asuh demokratis oleh orangtua, semakin baik pula capaian dimensi mandiri profil pelajar pancasila anak usia dini. This study aims to examine the relationship between parents' democratic parenting style and the achievement of the independence dimension of the pancasila student profile in early childhood at kindergartens in Cipedes District, Tasikmalaya City. The phenomenon underlying this research is the suboptimal development of independent character in early childhood, where many children still rely on adults to complete daily activities. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method, and data were collected through questionnaires. Questionnaires were distributed to parents to assess the implementation of democratic parenting at home, and to teachers to evaluate the children's achievement in the independence dimension. The results showed that the level of democratic parenting among parents in Cipedes District kindergartens is categorized as moderate. Similarly, the achievement of the independence dimension of the pancasila student profile in early childhood is also in the moderate category. Pearson correlation test results indicated a moderate and significant relationship between democratic parenting and the achievement of the independence dimension of the pancasila student profile in early childhood, with a correlation coefficient of 0.502 and a significance value of < .001. Therefore, the better the implementation of democratic parenting by parents, the better the achievement of the independence dimension in early childhood.
