Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi metode One-on-One Coaching dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta pelatihan bahasa Jepang di LPK Bahana Inspirasi Muda, mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar setelah metode diterapkan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa One-on-One Coaching dilaksanakan secara sistematis mengikuti tahapan GROW Model, meliputi penetapan tujuan, analisis kondisi, penyusunan strategi, dan komitmen tindakan. Peserta berperan aktif dalam setiap tahap, sementara instruktur berfungsi sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, dan motivator dengan pendekatan non-direktif, andragogis, dan humanistik. Penerapan metode ini terbukti meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta secara intrinsik yang terlihat dari meningkatnya rasa percaya diri, kemandirian, dan antusiasme. Serta secara ekstrinsik melalui dukungan instruktur, keluarga, dan lingkungan belajar. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi komitmen peserta, dukungan kebijakan lembaga, kompetensi instruktur, serta sarana pembelajaran, sedangkan faktor penghambat berupa keterbatasan waktu belajar mandiri, belum tersedia ruangan khusus One-on-One Coaching, dan belum tersedia instruktur khusus One-on-One Coaching. Secara keseluruhan, metode One-on-One Coaching efektif dalam membangun motivasi belajar peserta pelatihan bahasa Jepang di LPK Bahana Inspirasi Muda, meskipun terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu ditingkatkan. This study aims to describe the implementation of the One-on-One Coaching method in increasing the learning motivation of Japanese language training participants at LPK Bahana Inspirasi Muda, describe the motivation to learn after the method is applied, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that One-on-One Coaching is carried out systematically following the GROW Model stages, including goal setting, condition analysis, strategy formulation, and action commitment. Participants play an active role in each stage, while instructors function as facilitators, guides, and motivators with a non-directive, andragogic, and humanistic approach. The application of this method has been proven to intrinsically increase participants' learning motivation which can be seen from increasing confidence, independence, and enthusiasm. As well as extrinsically through the support of instructors, families, and learning environments. Factors that support success include participant commitment, institutional policy support, instructor competence, and learning facilities, while inhibiting factors are limited independent learning time, there is no special room for One-on-One Coaching, and there is no special instructor for One-on-One Coaching. Overall, the One-on-One Coaching method is effective in building the learning motivation of Japanese language trainees at LPK Bahana Inspirasi Muda, although there are several things that need to be improved.
