    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Attachment orang tua terhadap kecerdasan emosi anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Assalaam. Attachment orang tua merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan sosial-emosional anak, khususnya dalam membentuk kemampuan mengelola emosi, memahami perasaan orang lain, serta menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dan empati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 38 anak yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Pianta (1992) Child Parent Relationship Scale (CPRS) untuk mengukur Attachment orang tua, dan kuesioner kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini yang telah disesuaikan. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan analisis Pearson Product Moment, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach Alpha. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji korelasi Spearman Rho karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Attachment orang tua berada dalam kategori baik, dan kecerdasan emosi anak berada dalam kategori sedang. Namun, hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rho menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Attachment orang tua terhadap kecerdasan emosi anak usia 4-6 tahun (r = -0,054; p= 0,749). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Attachment orang tua dalam penelitian ini tidak berhubungan secara langsung dengan kecerdasan emosi anak. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental Attachment and emotional intelligence in children aged 4-6 years at Assalaam Kindergarten. Parental Attachment is an important aspect in children’s social-emotional development, particularly in shaping their ability to manage emotionsn, understand the feelings to other, and foster self confidence and empathy. This study employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The sample consists of 38 children selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Pianta (1992) Child Parent Relationship Scale (CPRS) questionnaire to measure parental Attachment and a adapted early childhood emotional intelligence questionnaire. Validity testing was conducted using Pearson Product Moment analysis, while reliability testing used Cronbach Alpha, the data analysis techniques used were the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and Spearman Rho correlation test because the data were not normally distributed. The results of the study show that parental Attachment is in the good category, and children’s emotional intelligence is in the moderate category. However, the results of Spearman Rho correlation test show that there is no significant relationship between parental Attachment and the emotional intelligence of children aged 4-6 years ( r= -0,054; p=0,749). Therefore, it can be concluded that parental Attachment in this studi is not directly related to children’s emotional intelligence.
