Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Gusjigang pada masyarakat Kudus, implementasinya dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS), serta pengaruhnya terhadap pengembangan keterampilan social entrepreneurship peserta didik SMPN 2 Bae Kudus. Gusjigang merupakan akronim dari “Bagus” (akhlak mulia), “Ngaji” (semangat belajar), dan “Dagang” (etos kewirausahaan) adalah filosofi warisan Sunan Kudus yang menjadi identitas budaya masyarakat Kota Kudus. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method dengan desain Concurrent Embedded Design, yaitu menggunakan metode kualitatif sebagai metode utama dengan metode studi kasus, dengan didukung metode kuantitatif melalui survei (angket/kuisoner). Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 2 Bae Kudus dengan partisipan budayawan, pengusaha, kepala sekolah, guru IPS, dan peserta didik kelas IX. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta angket (survei). Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana, sementara data kualitatif melalui analisis mendalam tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kearifan lokal Gusjigang terinternalisasi dalam sosial budaya dan ekonomi masyarakat Kudus. Nilai Gus berorientasi pada akhlak mulia, santun, jujur, dan bermoral. Nilai Ji mengacu pada semangat belajar sepanjang hayat, yang diwujudkan melalui tradisi mengaji. Sedangkan nilai Gang menekankan pentingnya berdagang dengan etika, kejujuran, serta tanggung jawab sosial. Implementasi nilai-nilai ini dalam pembelajaran IPS dilakukan dengan pendekatan kontekstual, menggunakan Project Based Learning (PjBL), serta proyek kewirausahaan sosial berbasis nilai lokal. Analisis kuantitatif memperlihatkan bahwa implementasi nilai Gusjigang dalam pembelajaran IPS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan keterampilan social entrepreneurship peserta didik. Penelitian ini berimplikasi bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya lokal dan strategi pembelajaran IPS yang relevan dengan tantangan abad ke-21. This study analyzes the values of Gusjigang local wisdom in the Kudus community, their application in Social Studies Learning, and their impact on developing social entrepreneurship skills among students at SMPN 2 Bae. Gusjigang an acronym for Bagus (noble character), Ngaji (spirit of learning), and Dagang (entrepreneurial ethos) is a philosophical legacy of Sunan Kudus that functions both as cultural identity and moral guidance. The research used a mixed method approach with a Concurrent Embedded Design, in which qualitative inquiry through a case study was the primary method, supported by quantitative data from a survey. The site was SMPN 2 Bae, with participants including cultural figures, entrepreneurs, the principal, teachers, and ninth grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Quantitative data were analyzed with simple linear regression, while qualitative data underwent thematic analysis. Findings show that Gusjigang values are embedded in the socio cultural and economic life of Kudus. The value of Gus highlights noble character, courtesy, honesty, and moral integrity. The value of Ji reflects lifelong learning, manifested in the tradition of ngaji and respect for knowledge. The value of Gang emphasizes entrepreneurship grounded in ethics, honesty, and social responsibility. Their integration into Social Studies learning is implemented through contextual approaches, Project Based Learning, and entrepreneurship projects based on local wisdom. Quantitative analysis indicates that applying Gusjigang values significantly enhances students’ social entrepreneurship skills. This study provides implications for strengthening character education rooted in local culture and for designing Social Studies learning strategies aligned with twenty first century challenges.
