Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh produk berupa e-modul berbasis intertekstual pada konsep titrasi asam-basa yang berpotensi meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa. E-modul dikembangkan dengan tiga tahap Research and Development (R&D). Perancangan e-modul dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan intertekstual dengan mengaitkan tiga level representasi yaitu makroskopik, submikroskopik, dan simbolik. Aspek keterampilan proses sains (KPS) termuat dalam e-modul melalui berbagai aktivitas siswa yang disajikan. Uji kelayakan e-modul dilakukan oleh para ahli substansi, metode instruksional, kebahasaan, dan media. Hasil analisis deskripsi menunjukkan e-modul yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik berbasis intertekstual, self-instructional, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptive, user friendly, konsisten dalam penggunaan font, spasi, dan tata letak, disampaikan dengan menggunakan suatu media elektronik berbasis komputer, memanfaatkan berbagai fungsi media elektronik, memanfaatkan berbagai fitur yang ada pada aplikasi software, dan sesuai prinsip pembelajaran. Hasil uji kelayakan oleh para ahli menunjukkan e-modul layak digunakan dengan beberapa perbaikan yang telah dipenuhi. Oleh karena itu, e-modul ini berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. This research aims to produce an intertextual-based e-module on the concept of acid-base titration that has the potential to enhance students’ conceptual mastery and science process skills (SPS). The e-module was developed through three stages of Research and Development (R&D). The design of the e-module employed an intertextual approach by integrating the three levels of chemical representation namely macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic. Science process skills (SPS) are embedded in the e-module through various student learning activities provided. The validity of the e-module was evaluated by experts in content, instructional method, language, and media. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that the developed e-module possesses the characteristics of being intertextual-based, self-instructional, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptive, user-friendly, consistent in the use of fonts, spacing, and layout, delivered through computer-based electronic media, utilizing diverse electronic media functions, incorporating various software application features, and aligned with learning principles. The results of the expert validation show that the e-module is valid for use with several revisions that have been addressed. Therefore, this e-module has the potential to serve as a learning resource to strengthen students’ conceptual understanding and science process skills.
