Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan program magang mandiri terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada hasil survei awal yang menunjukkan bahwa 17 dari 30 mahasiswa merasa kurang yakin akan memperoleh pekerjaan sesuai bidang yang diinginkan setelah lulus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional Spearman’s Rho. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan angkatan 2022 yang telah melaksanakan program magang mandiri pada semester genap tahun akademik 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang cukup kuat antara program magang mandiri dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,674 yang berada pada kategori kuat (interval 0,60–0,799). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam program magang mandiri berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan mereka memasuki dunia kerja. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the independent internship program and the work readiness of Educational Technology students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The research background is based on a preliminary survey showing that 17 out of 30 students felt uncertain about obtaining jobs in their desired fields after graduation. This study employed a quantitative approach with the Spearman’s Rho correlational method. The research subjects were students of the 2022 cohort in the Educational Technology Study Program who had participated in the independent internship program during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The findings revealed a significant and a strong relationship between the independent internship program and students’ work readiness, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.674, which falls into the strong category (interval 0.60–0.799). Thus, it can be concluded that students’ involvement in the independent internship program has a significant impact on enhancing their readiness to enter the professional workforce.
