    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik Simulator Proses Koagulasi dan mengimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran untuk memudahkan penguasaan konsep peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 35 peserta didik SMA kelas XI. Penelitian diawali dengan menganalisis karakteristik multimedia yang telah dikembangkan peneliti sebelumnya. Informasi yang diperoleh pada analisis karakteristik multimedia menjadi pertimbangan untuk menentukan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dan sebagai acuan dalam pembuatan modul ajar. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan transkrip video kegiatan pembelajaran, serta hasil jawaban peserta didik pada Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik. Data penguasaan konsep diperoleh melalui tes sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa Simulator Proses Koagulasi mengintegrasikan simulasi eksperimen yang menyerupai kegiatan laboratorium nyata, termasuk visualisasi alat, kejernihan larutan, dan pembentukan endapan. Simulator dilengkapi dengan video serta teks penjelasan proses koagulasi dan pemanfaatannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, serta soal maupun tugas yang membantu pemahaman peserta didik. Berdasarkan karakteristik simulator, model POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) merupakan salah satu model yang dapat mengintegrasikan simulator dalam proses pembelajarannya. Hasil judgement terhadap rancangan modul ajar berbasis POE menunjukkan bahwa modul tersebut layak digunakan. Observasi terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran memperlihatkan bahwa penggunaan simulator dengan model POE berjalan dengan baik meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis. Implementasi Simulator Proses Koagulasi dengan model POE mendukung penguasaan konsep peserta didik, meskipun belum secara menyeluruh. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the Simulator Proses Koagulasi and implement it in learning to facilitate student concept mastery. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research participants consisted of 35 grade XI high school students. The study began by analyzing the characteristics of multimedia that had been previously developed by researchers. Information obtained from the analysis of multimedia characteristics was considered to determine the appropriate learning model and as a reference in creating teaching modules. The implementation of learning was obtained from the results of observations and video transcripts of learning activities, as well as the results of student answers on the Student Worksheet. Data on concept mastery were obtained through pre- and post-learning tests using a multiple-choice test instrument. From the analysis, it was known that the Simulator Proses Koagulasi integrates experimental simulations that resemble real laboratory activities, including visualization of equipment, solution clarity, and sediment formation. The simulator is equipped with videos and text explaining the coagulation process and its use in everyday life, as well as questions and assignments that help students understand. Based on the characteristics of the simulator, the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) model is one model that can integrate simulators in the learning process. The assessment results of the POE-based teaching module design indicate that the module is suitable for use. Observations of the learning implementation showed that the use of the POE simulator went well despite some technical challenges. The implementation of the POE Simulator Proses Koagulasi supported students' conceptual mastery, although not yet comprehensively.
