Abstract
Rangkaian filter adalah sistem elektronik yang digunakan untuk memfilter sinyal pada frekuensi tertentu. Dalam penerapannya, proses filter sinyal seringkali tidak sempurna akibat pergeseran pada frekuensi cut-offnya yang disebabkan oleh komponennya dalam sirkuit elektronik, salah satunya adalah komponen resistor. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan hubungan antara resistor dan perubahan frekuensi untuk menentukan frekuensi cut-off pada rangkaian low-pass filter dan high-pass filter beserta slope saat frekuensi terpotong. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan serangkaian Op-Amp LM741 dengan menambahkan komponen kapasitor dan variasi resistor sebagai media perancangan low-pass filter dan high-pass filter, masing-masing pada orde satu dan orde dua, kemudian dihubungkan ke function generator untuk memberikan variasi frekuensi dari rentang 100 Hz hingga 1 MHz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada low-pass filter orde satu dan orde dua, frekuensi cut-off ideal terjadi pada resistor dengan nilai hambatan 990 Ohm dan 9720 Ohm yang menghasilkan frekuensi cut-offnya sebesar 7546 Hz dan 706,5 Hz, sedangkan pada high-pass filter orde satu dan orde dua dengan nilai hambatan feedback tetap 9820 Ohm, frekuensi cut-off terjadi pada resistor dengan nilai hambatan 56200 Ohm dan 82 Ohm yang menghasilkan frekuensi cut-offnya sebesar 275 Hz dan 13075,3 Hz. Nilai slope pada filter orde satu cenderung stabil dan mendekati slope idealnya sementara pada filter orde dua tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai resistor secara signifikan memengaruhi akurasi frekuensi cut-off pada rangkaian filter aktif. The filter circuit was an electronic system used to filter signals at specific frequencies. In application, signal filtering is often imperfect due to shifts in the cut-off frequency caused by several components in the electronic circuit, one of which was the resistor component. Therefore, this research objective was to find the relationship between resistors and frequency changes to determine the cut-off frequency in low-pass and high-pass filter circuits. This research method used a series of LM741 op-amp by adding capacitor components and resistor variations as active low-pass filter and active high-pass filter circuits, each at the 1st and 2nd order, then connected to a function generator to provide frequency variations ranging from 100 Hz to 1 MHz. The research results showed that in 1st and 2nd order low-pass filter, the ideal cut-off frequency occurred at resistance with value 990 Ohm 9720 Ohm which yielded a cut-off frequency of 7546 Hz and 706,5 Hz while in 1st and 2nd order high-pass filter with feedback resistance value was 9820 Ohm, the ideal cut-off frequency occured at resistance with value 56200 Ohm and 82 Ohm which yielded a cut-off frequency of 275 Hz and 13075,3 Hz . The slope value in first-order filter tends to be stable and can approaches its ideal slope, whereas in a second-order filter, it does not undergo significant change. These findings indicate that resistor values significantly influence the accuracy of cut-off frequency in active filter circuits.
