    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi asesmen foto berseri sebagai salah satu teknik penilaian autentik di TK Firdaus Percikan Iman. Tujuan penelitian mencakup penggambaran pemahaman guru, proses pelaksanaan asesmen, kendala yang muncul beserta strategi penyelesaiannya, serta manfaat yang diperoleh melalui penggunaan asesmen foto berseri. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memahami asesmen foto berseri sebagai bagian dari asesmen autentik yang menekankan bukti konkret perkembangan anak. Implementasi dilakukan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dokumentasi, analisis, dan pelaporan hasil asesmen. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru adalah keterbatasan waktu saat pengambilan dokumentasi serta ruang penyimpanan dokumentasi yang terbatas. Meski demikian, asesmen foto berseri terbukti memberikan manfaat signifikan, antara lain menggambarkan perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh, mendukung refleksi guru, meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua, serta menjadi model asesmen yang direkomendasikan untuk sekolah lain. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa asesmen foto berseri mampu memperkuat penilaian yang bermakna, berpihak pada anak, serta mendukung keberlanjutan pembelajaran di pendidikan anak usia dini. This study aims to describe the implementation of serial photo assessment as one of the authentic assessment techniques at TK Firdaus Percikan Iman. The research objectives include illustrating teachers understanding, the assessment implementation process, the challenges encountered along with their solutions, as well as the benefits gained through the use of serial photo assessment. The method employed was a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings reveal that teachers understand serial photo assessment as part of authentic assessment that emphasizes concrete evidence of children’s development. The implementation was carried out through the stages of planning, execution, documentation, analysis, and reporting of assessment results. The main challenges faced by teachers were time constraints during documentation and limited storage space for documentation. Nevertheless, serial photo assessment proved to provide significant benefits, including offering a comprehensive picture of children’s development, supporting teacher reflection, increasing parental involvement, and serving as a recommended assessment model for other schools. The study concludes that serial photo assessment can strengthen meaningful assessment, prioritize children’s needs, and support the continuity of learning in early childhood education.
