Abstract

Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, perekonomian negara Indonesia telah menunjukan pemulihan yang stabil dan mengalami tren pertumbuhan ekonomi yang positif. Namun, pertumbuhan tersebut belum dapat mencapai target yang ditetapkan. Masih terdapat beberapa tantangan berupa performa sektor ekonomi utama yang di kurang optimal, ketergantungan impor, serta potensi sektor industri halal di Indonesia yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Kontribusi industri halal sangat berperan dalam menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan sehingga mendukung agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ke-8 terkait pekerjaan yang layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh regulasi sertifikasi halal, kegiatan ekspor-impor halal, investasi asing langsung (FDI) dan nilai tukar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia dalam jangka panjang dan pendek menggunakan pendekatan analisis Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi halal tidak memiliki pengaruh dalam jangka pendek terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi namun berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam jangka panjang. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa efek dari kebijakan sertifikasi halal tidak dapat dirasakan secara langsung dalam waktu dekat, pelaku industri harus mampu memanfaatkan sertifikasi tersebut sebagai nilai tambah untuk perluasan pasar. Kemudian, ekspor halal dan investasi asing langsung berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sebaliknya, impor halal, nilai tukar dan inflasi menunjukkan pengaruh negatif dan signifikan, baik dalam jangka pendek maupun panjang, yang mengindikasikan bahwa ketergantungan terhadap produk halal impor dapat menghambat penguatan industri halal domestik. Inflasi juga ditemukan memiliki pengaruh positif dalam jangka pendek namun berubah menjadi negatif dalam jangka panjang. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya penguatan sektor industri halal domestik, peningkatan ekspor halal, pengelolaan impor, serta stabilisasi makroekonomi melalui kebijakan nilai tukar dan inflasi yang tepat guna mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan di Indonesia. In recent years, Indonesia's economy has shown a stable recovery and experienced a positive economic growth trend. However, this growth has not been able to reach the set target. There are still several challenges in the form of suboptimal performance of the main economic sector, import dependence, and the potential of the halal industry sector in Indonesia that has not been utilized optimally. The contribution of the halal industry plays a very important role in creating jobs so as to support the 8th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda related to decent work and economic growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of halal certification regulations, halal export-import activities, foreign direct investment (FDI) and exchange rates on Indonesia's economic growth in the long and short term using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) analysis approach. The results of this study show that halal certification does not have an effect in the short term on economic growth but has a significant positive effect in the long term. This indicates that the effects of the halal certification policy cannot be felt directly in the near future, industry players must be able to utilize the certification as an added value for market expansion. Then, halal exports and foreign direct investment have a significant positive effect on economic growth. On the other hand, halal imports, exchange rates and inflation show negative and significant influences, both in the short and long term, indicating that dependence on imported halal products can hinder the strengthening of the domestic halal industry. Inflation was also found to have a positive influence in the short term but turned negative in the long term. These findings imply the importance of strengthening the domestic halal industry sector, increasing halal exports, managing imports, and stabilizing macroeconomics through appropriate exchange rate and inflation policies to encourage sustainable economic growth in Indonesia
