    Abstract

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berawal dari permasalahan kurang optimalnya pengembangan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Seni Budaya di SMP Negeri 3 Purwadadi. Proses belajar masih didominasi guru dan keterbatasan media musik membuat siswa kurang leluasa bereksplorasi. Padahal, kreativitas merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu ditumbuhkan sejak remaja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menawarkan solusi dengan memanfaatkan perkakas dapur sebagai media alternatif dalam pembelajaran musik, yang diharapkan mampu menciptakan suasana belajar lebih inovatif, menyenangkan, serta mendorong siswa untuk berkreasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Action Research yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perkembangan kreativitas siswa setelah pembelajaran musik menggunakan perkakas dapur. Pada siklus I, siswa mulai mampu mengeksplorasi bunyi perkakas dapur menjadi ritme sederhana. Pada siklus II, kreativitas siswa berkembang lebih baik, ditunjukkan dengan keberanian menciptakan variasi ritme, improvisasi, dan kolaborasi dalam kelompok. Secara keseluruhan, pemanfaatan perkakas dapur terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran musik yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan inovatif sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. ABSTRACT This study originated from the problem of suboptimal development of student creativity in Cultural Arts learning at SMP Negeri 3 Purwadadi. The learning process is still dominated by teachers, and limitations in music media prevent students from exploring freely. However, creativity is an important skill that needs to be nurtured from an early age. Therefore, this study offers a solution by utilizing kitchen utensils as an alternative medium in music education, which is expected to create a more innovative and enjoyable learning environment and encourage students to be creative. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Action Research method, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Research instruments include observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate an increase in students' creativity after music education using kitchen utensils. In Cycle I, students began to be able to explore the sounds of kitchen utensils into simple rhythms. In Cycle II, students' creativity improved further, as evidenced by their willingness to create rhythm variations, improvisations, and collaborations within groups. Overall, the use of kitchen utensils proved effective in creating interactive, enjoyable, and innovative music learning experiences, thereby enhancing students' creativity.
