    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya kajian/penelitian dan pengembangan etnomatematika berbasis makanan tradisional Cilacap. Keterbatasan tersebut menjadi kesenjangan yang perlu diatasi melalui penyediaan bahan ajar yang dapat menjadi panduan bagi pendidik dan peserta didik dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan makanan tradisional Cilacap sebagai konteks etnomatematika di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika makanan tradisional Cilacap pada materi bangun ruang di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Educational Design Research (EDR) menurut model McKenney dan Reeves (2012) yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis dan eksplorasi, desain dan konstruksi, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, studi dokumen, observasi, validasi ahli serta angket respons dari peserta didik dan pendidik. Uji coba dilakukan dilakukan di SDN Karangpucung 05 dan SDN Tayem Timur 01, Kec. Karangpucung, Kab. Cilacap. Uji coba pertama mendapatkan persentase respons peserta didik sebesar 95% dan uji coba kedua mendapatkan persentase sebesar 97%. Hasil uji coba di kedua sekolah tersebut menunjukan bahan ajar yang digunakan termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Selain itu, respons yang diberikan pendidik juga menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dimana pendidik SDN Karangpucung 05 memberikan respons dengan persentase 96% dan pendidik SDN Tayem Timur 01 sebesar 94%. Berdasarkan keseluruhan hasil respons peserta didik dan pendidik, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika makanan tradisional Cilacap sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. This research is motivated by the limited study/research and development of ethnomathematics based on Cilacap traditional food. This limitation becomes a gap that needs to be addressed by providing teaching materials that can be a guide for educators and students in optimizing the use of Cilacap traditional food as an ethnomathematics context at the Elementary School level. Therefore, this study aims to develop teaching materials based on Cilacap traditional food ethnomathematics on spatial geometry material in grade IV of Elementary School. The method used in this research is Educational Design Research (EDR) according to the McKenney and Reeves (2012) model which consists of the stages of analysis and exploration, design and construction, and evaluation and reflection. Data collection was carried out through interviews, document studies, observations, expert validation and questionnaire responses from students and educators. The trial was conducted at SDN Karangpucung 05 and SDN Tayem Timur 01, Karangpucung District, Cilacap Regency. The first trial obtained a student response percentage of 95% and the second trial obtained a percentage of 97%. The results of the trials in both schools showed that the teaching materials used were included in the "Very Appropriate" category. In addition, the responses given by educators also showed very good results with the "Very Appropriate" category, where educators at SDN Karangpucung 05 gave a response with a percentage of 96% and educators at SDN Tayem Timur 01 with a percentage of 94%. Based on the overall results of student and educator responses, it can be concluded that the ethnomathematics-based teaching materials of Cilacap traditional food are very suitable for use in the learning process in the classroom.
