Abstract

Pemanfaatan koleksi adalah aktivitas belajar pemustaka di perpustakaan dengan menggunakan koleksi yang tersedia di perpustakaan. Penyediaan koleksi perpustakaan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk menunjang kegiatan literasi dan memfasilitasi terwujudnya masyarakat pembelajar sepanjang hayat. Terwujudnya masyarakat pembelajar sepanjang hayat perlu didukung oleh perpustakaan, pemerintah, dan pihak terkait lainnya, sehingga tercipta ekosistem literasi yang mendukung pengembangan literasi masyarakat. Ekosistem literasi adalah sistem yang saling bekerja sama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang literat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan pedoman yang berisi tentang bagaimana koleksi Perpustakaan Desa Mangkalaya dapat dimanfaatkan dalam upaya untuk menciptakan ekosistem literasi di Perpustakaan Desa Mangkalaya, melalui kerja sama antara Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Sukabumi sebagai perpustakaan tingkat pusat di Kabupaten Sukabumi maupun sektor kemasyarakatan terkait. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain dan pengembangan yang dilakukan dengan 6 tahapan yaitu identifikasi masalah, menentukan tujuan, perancangan dan pengembangan, uji coba terbatas, evaluasi, dan mengomunikasikan hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pedoman yang dikembangkan mendapatkan skor sempurna dengan persentase 100% dari ahli materi dan ahli media yang berarti “Sangat Baik” dan memperoleh tanggapan positif dari hasil uji coba terbatas dengan persentase 77.5% yang artinya “Baik”. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa pedoman pemanfaatan koleksi yang dikembangkan untuk Perpustakaan Desa Mangkalaya dinilai layak dan sangat baik digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan koleksi di Perpustakaan Desa Mangkalaya. Collection utilization is a learning activity carried out by library users in the library using the collections available in the library. The provision of library collections can be utilized by the community to support literacy activities and facilitate the realization of a lifelong learning society. The realization of a lifelong learning society needs to be supported by libraries, the government, and other related parties, so as to create a literacy ecosystem that supports the development of community literacy. A literacy ecosystem is a system that works together to create a literate environment. The purpose of this study is to develop guidelines on how the Mangkalaya Village Library collection can be utilized in an effort to create a literacy ecosystem at the Mangkalaya Village Library, through collaboration between the Sukabumi Regency Library as the central library in Sukabumi Regency and related community sectors. The research method used was design and development carried out in six stages, namely problem identification, goal setting, design and development, limited testing, evaluation, and communication of results. The results of this study show that the guidelines developed received a perfect score of 100% from subject matter experts and media experts, which means “Very Good,” and received positive responses from the limited trial with a percentage of 77.5%, which means “Good.” The conclusion of this study is that the guidelines for utilizing the collection developed for the Mangkalaya Village Library are considered feasible and very good to be used as a reference in the management and utilization of collections at the Mangkalaya Village Library.
