    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat risiko aktivitas manual handling dan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) pada karyawan PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Cabang Serang menggunakan leitmerkmal methode. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penilaian risiko dilakukan menggunakan Leitmerkmal Methode (LMM), sedangkan identifikasi keluhan MSDs dilakukan dengan kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM). Sampel penelitian melibatkan 6 orang karyawan bagian pelaksana incoming dan outgoing yang dipilih dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi tingkat risiko manual handling yaitu 1 orang (16,67%) kategori rendah, 2 orang (33,33%) kategori sedang, 2 orang (33,33%) kategori tinggi, dan 1 orang (16,67%) kategori sangat tinggi. Seluruh responden (100%) melaporkan adanya keluhan MSDs, terutama pada punggung dan bahu. Analisis deskriptif memperlihatkan bahwa karyawan berusia diatas 35 tahun lebih berisiko dibandingkan karyawan yang berusia dibawah 35 tahun. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa faktor usia berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya risiko keluhan MSDs. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya perbaikan ergonomi, penyediaan alat bantu kerja, serta pelatihan postur kerja yang benar guna mengurangi risiko cedera dan meningkatkan keselamatan kerja karyawan. This study aims to analyze the risk level of manual handling activities and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among employees at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Serang Branch Office using the Leitmerkmal Methode (LMM). The research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Risk assessment was carried out using LMM, while MSDs complaints were identified through the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. The sample involved 6 operational employees from the incoming and outgoing divisions selected through a total sampling technique. The results showed the distribution of manual handling risk levels as follows: 1 employee (16.67%) in the low category, 2 employees (33.33%) in the moderate category, 2 employees (33.33%) in the high category, and 1 employee (16.67%) in the very high category. All respondents (100%) reported MSDs complaints, predominantly in the back and shoulders. Descriptive analysis indicated that employees aged over 35 years had a higher risk compared to those under 35 years. This study concludes that age is an influential factor in increasing the risk of MSDs complaints. Therefore, ergonomic improvements, provision of appropriate work aids, and training on proper working postures are necessary to reduce the risk of injury and improve employee safety.
