    Abstract

    Isu yang diangkat pada penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya keterampilan kerja di era global yang kompetitif serta tingginya angka pengangguran lulusan pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia terhadap manfaat Program Magang Bersertifikat dalam mengembangkan employability skills. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner skala Likert. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 32 mahasiswa peserta program magang bersertifikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap manfaat program magang dalam mengembangkan empat aspek employability skills, yaitu: pemahaman (understanding), praktik keterampilan (skillful practice), keyakinan diri (efficacy beliefs), dan kesadaran metakognitif (metacognition). Program magang dinilai efektif dalam membantu mahasiswa membangun keterampilan teknis dan non-teknis yang relevan dengan dunia kerja. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa mahasiswa memandang Program Magang Bersertifikat sebagai suatu program yang bermanfaat dalam mengembangkan employability skills. Sehingga, perlu diintegrasikan secara optimal dalam kurikulum guna meningkatkan kesiapan kerja lulusan. The issue addressed in this study is based on the importance of employability skills in a competitive global era and the high unemployment rate among higher education graduates. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Educational Technology students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia regarding the benefits of the Certified Internship Program in developing employability skills. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey technique employing a Likert-scale questionnaire. The sample consisted of 32 students participating in the certified internship program. The results show that the majority of students have a positive perception of the internship program’s benefits in developing four aspects of employability skills: understanding, skillful practice, efficacy beliefs, and metacognition. The internship program is considered effective in helping students build both technical and non-technical skills relevant to the workforce. The implication of this study is that students view the Certified Internship Program as a valuable initiative for developing employability skills. Therefore, it needs to be optimally integrated into the curriculum to enhance graduates' readiness for the workforce.
