    Abstract

    Model Explicit Instruction merupakan model pembelajaran yang menyampaikan materi secara langsung, jelas, dan terstruktur melalui langkah-langkah yang runtut, dalam pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional membuat aksesoris manik, model ini membantu guru membimbing anak tunarungu secara bertahap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model explicit instruction terhadap peningkatan keterampilan vokasional membuat aksesoris manik pada peserta didik tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes kinerja dengan sampel berjumlah 6 siswa. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas isi expert judgement dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan alfa Cronbach. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon signed ranks dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model explicit instruction berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membuat aksesoris manik pada anak tunarungu karena model explicit instruction disampaikan secara langkah demi langkah. Dengan demikian implikasinya dapat menguatkan konsep bahwa interaksi personal antara guru dan siswa dalam Explicit Instruction efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan secara sistematis. The Explicit Instruction model is a learning model that delivers material directly, clearly, and structured through sequential steps. In learning vocational skills in making bead accessories, this model helps teachers guide deaf children gradually. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the explicit instruction model on improving vocational skills in making bead accessories in deaf students. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a onegroup pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique in this study used a performance test with a sample of 6 students. The validity test used expert judgment content validity and the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis used Wilcoxon signed ranks with the help of SPSS. The results showed that the explicit instruction model had an effect on improving the skills of making bead accessories in deaf children because the explicit instruction model was delivered step by step. Thus, the implications can strengthen the concept that personal interaction between teachers and students in Explicit Instruction is effective in improving understanding and skills systematically.
