    Abstract

    PT Leuwigajah menghadapi permasalahan terkait dengan tata letak gudang, meliputi penempatan alat dan fasilitas material handling yang tidak teratur, adanya backtracking, dan jalur pergerakan yang terbatas menyebabkan biaya material handling meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas gudang guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional gudang dengan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) yang dikombinasikan dengan algoritma BLOCPLAN. Metode SLP digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antar aktivitas, sedangkan algoritma BLOCPLAN dimanfaatkan untuk mengevaluasi alternatif tata letak berdasarkan parameter jarak dan kondisi aktual lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode SLP dan algoritma BLOCPLAN efektif dalam menurunkan total jarak material handling sebesar 25,13 meter dan biaya material handling sebesar Rp 6.315.543, yang masing-masing berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efisiensi sebesar 24,82% untuk jarak dan 31,20% untuk biaya. Hasil simulasi pada perangkat lunak BLOCPLAN menunjukkan bahwa layout ke-4 memperoleh R-score tertinggi. Namun, layout ke-3 dengan R-Score peringkat kedua dipilih sebagai layout usulan karena lebih sesuai dengan kondisi aktual di lapangan, seperti kelancaran aliran material antar area, kedekatan hubungan aktivitas, dan posisi fasilitas yang mendukung efisiensi jarak tempuh serta biaya material handling. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu kombinasi antara metode SLP dan algoritma BLOCPLAN efektif dalam menghasilkan layout yang lebih efisien dan diharapkan mampu menjadi usulan bagi PT Leuwigajah dalam perbaikan tata letak gudangnya. PT Leuwigajah faces issues related to warehouse layout, including the disorganized placement of equipment and material handling facilities, the occurrence of backtracking, and limited movement pathways, which contribute to increased material handling costs. This study aims to redesign the warehouse facility layout to improve operational efficiency using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method combined with the BLOCPLAN algorithm. The SLP method is employed to analyze the relationships between activities, while the BLOCPLAN algorithm is utilized to evaluate alternative layouts based on distance parameters and actual field conditions. The results indicate that the implementation of SLP and the BLOCPLAN algorithm effectively reduces the total material handling distance by 25.13 meters and material handling costs by IDR 6,315,543, contributing to efficiency improvements of 24.82% in distance and 31.20% in cost. Simulations conducted using the BLOCPLAN software show that layout 4 obtained the highest R-score. However, layout 3, which ranked second in R-score, was selected as the proposed layout due to its greater suitability to the actual field conditions, such as smoother material flow between areas, closer activity relationships, and more strategic facility placement, all of which support distance and cost efficiency. The conclusion of this study is that the combination of the SLP method and the BLOCPLAN algorithm is effective in producing a more efficient layout and is expected to serve as a recommendation for PT Leuwigajah in improving its warehouse layout.
