    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian reward terhadap kinerja karyawan pada bagian proyek assembly di PT Hamid Jaya Mandiri. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya fluktuasi pendapatan perusahaan dari tahun ke tahun serta tingginya tingkat absensi dan keterlambatan karyawan. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kinerja karyawan belum sepenuhnya optimal, sehingga perlu ditelusuri faktor-faktor yang dapat mendorong perbaikan kinerja, salah satunya melalui pemberian reward kepada karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory survey. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang karyawan pada bagian proyek assembly. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengukur variabel reward dan kinerja karyawan berdasarkan indikator yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian reward memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa reward yang dikelola dengan tepat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelaksanaan tugas, keandalan kerja individu, dan ketercapaian hasil kerja karyawan secara keseluruhan. Semakin baik pemberian reward yang diberikan kepada karyawan, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang dicapai oleh karyawan. This study aims to determine the effect of reward on employee performance in the assembly project division at PT Hamid Jaya Mandiri. The background of this research is based on the fluctuation of the company’s revenue over the years, as well as the high level of employee absenteeism and tardiness. These conditions indicate that employee performance has not yet reached its optimal level, thereby necessitating an exploration of factors that can encourage performance improvement one of which is the provision of rewards to employees. This study employs a quantitative approach using the explanatory survey method. The respondents consisted of 40 employees from the assembly project division. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring the reward and employee performance variables based on predetermined indicators. The results show that reward has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This indicates that a properly managed reward contributes to improvements in task execution quality, individual work reliability, and overall job achievement. The better the rewards given to employees, the higher the performance achieved by employees.
