Abstract

Penelitian ini memaparkan hasil rancang bangun simulator pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH). Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk mengetahui mengenai skema PLTMH, komponen – komponen PLTMH serta perhitungan potensial daya dan kapasitas daya pembangkit. Metode yang digunakan untuk rancang bangun ini adalah metode eksperimen. rancang bangun simulator pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH) dibuat menggunakan aplikasi visual basic 6.0. kemudian simulator PLTMH diuji cobakan, Setelah PLTMH diujicobakan, didapatkan debit pada saluran 1500 l/detik, dan nilai head gross 18,6 meter, maka potensial daya sebesar 273,7 ≈ 274 kW, jika nilai debit dengan menggunakan 2 (dua) pipa pesat sebesar 1100 l/detik, tinggi jatuh air 17 meter, dengan efisiensi turbin 0,74, transmisi mekanik 0,98 dan efisiensi generator 0,85 serta jumlah kutub generator 2 kutub dan kecepatan 3000 rpm maka didapatkan 109,62 kW, jika nilai debit dengan menggunakan 1 (satu) pipa pesat sebesar 550 l/detik, tinggi jatuh air 17 meter, didapatkan 54,81 kW. Diharapkan penelitian ini, dapat mempermudah pengguna dalam memahami mengenai pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro (PLTMH). Kata Kunci : Simulator, PLTMH This study presents the results of design simulator micro hydro power plant (MHPP). This application is designed to find out about the MHPP scheme, components - components of the MHPP and the potential calculation power and power generating capacity. The method used for this design is the experimental method. engineering simulator micro hydro power plant (MHPP) created using Visual Basic 6.0 application. then the simulator MHPP tested, After MHPP tested, obtained discharge on channel 1500 l / sec, and the value of the gross head of 18.6 meters, the potential power of 274 kW ≈ 273.7, if the value of the discharge by using two (2) pipe rapidly of 1100 l / sec, 17-meter high water fall, the turbine efficiency of 0.74, 0.98 and mechanical transmission efficiency of 0.85 generators and generator 2 poles pole number and speed of 3000 rpm then obtained 109.62 kW, if the value of the discharge by using 1 (one) rapidly pipe of 550 l / sec, 17-meter high water fall, obtained 54.81 kW. Hopefully this research, can help users to understand about micro hydro power plant (MHPP). Keywords: Simulator, MHPP
