    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi media pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) berbasis aplikasi Liveworksheet dalam menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan melaui paperless society pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan dalam konteks pembelajaran digital yang semakin berkembang pesat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Liveworksheet memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik, efisien, dan ramah lingkungan. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan peserta didik mengerjakan LKPD secara digital dengan umpan balik langsung berupa skor otomatis. Guru berperan aktif dalam membimbing peserta didik untuk terbiasa belajar tanpa kertas dan memahami pentingnya pengurangan limbah kertas dalam kegiatan belajar. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan perangkat, keterampilan digital guru, dan waktu pelaksanaan yang terbatas, upaya terus dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut melalui pelatihan, pemanfaatan fasilitas sekolah, serta kolaborasi antar pendidik. Kesimpulannya, implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis Liveworksheet terbukti mendukung penumbuhan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui paperless society sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS secara interaktif dan berkelanjutan. This research aims to describe the implementation of Social Studies (IPS) digital learning media based on the Liveworksheet application in fostering a paperless character among students at SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. The background of this research is grounded in the importance of developing environmental awareness within the rapidly evolving context of digital learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the use of the Liveworksheet application provides a more engaging, efficient, and environmentally friendly learning experience. This application enables students to complete worksheets digitally with immediate feedback in the form of automatic scoring. Teachers play an active role in guiding students to become accustomed to paperless learning and to understand the importance of reducing paper waste in educational activities. Despite several challenges such as limited devices, teachers' digital skills, and time constraints, continuous efforts are made to overcome these barriers through training, utilizing school facilities, and fostering collaboration among educators. In conclusion, the implementation of learning media using Liveworksheet has proven effective in promoting a paperless character while simultaneously enhancing the quality of interactive and sustainable Social Studies learning.
