    Abstract

    Kemampuan Logical Thinking merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa SMK, khususnya dalam bidang teknologi jaringan. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut karena materi pembelajaran yang bersifat abstrak serta metode pembelajaran yang kurang interaktif. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman konsep dan ketidakmampuan siswa dalam menarik kesimpulan maupun berargumentasi secara logis. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Reality dengan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi fiber optik guna meningkatkan kemampuan Logical Thinking siswa SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan multimedia ADDIE serta desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui pelaksanaan pretest dan posttest kepada 33 siswa kelas XI TJKT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan Logical Thinking siswa dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 44,02 meningkat menjadi 77,35 pada posttest. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000 yang menandakan terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Peningkatan indikator Logical Thinking berdasarkan nilai n-gain meliputi keruntutan berpikir (0,55), kemampuan berargumentasi (0,61), dan penarikan kesimpulan (0,57). Selain itu, tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 89,24% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Logical Thinking ability is one of the important skills that vocational high school students must have, especially in the field of network technology. However, in practice, many students still have difficulty developing these skills due to abstract learning materials and less interactive learning methods. This condition results in low conceptual understanding and students' inability to draw conclusions and argue logically. To overcome these problems, this study aims to develop Virtual Reality-based learning media with the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on fiber optic material to improve the Logical Thinking ability of vocational high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE multimedia development model and a One Group Pretest Posttest research design. Data were collected through the implementation of pretests and posttests to 33 students of class XI TJKT. The results of the study showed an increase in students' Logical Thinking abilities with an average pretest score of 44.02 increasing to 77.35 in the posttest. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test produced a p value = 0.000 which indicates a significant difference before and after learning. The improvement in Logical Thinking indicators based on the n-gain value includes logical thinking sequence (0.55), argumentation ability (0.61), and conclusion drawing (0.57). In addition, student responses to learning obtained a percentage of 89.24% with the "Very Good" category.
