    Abstract

    Self-efficacy atau keyakinan diri menjadi faktor krusial yang memengaruhi partisipasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi yang menuntut kemandirian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara Self-efficacy dengan Keaktifan Belajar mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Self-efficacy dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori Bandura yang meliputi keyakinan pada tingkatan (level), kekuatan (strength), dan generalisasi (generality) kemampuan diri. Sementara keaktifan belajar difokuskan pada aspek aktivitas lisan (oral activity), visual (visual activity), dan emosional (emotional activity) berdasarkan teori Diedrich dan Fredricks. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, melibatkan 134 mahasiswa Program Studi Teknologi Pendidikan angkatan 2022 dan 2023 yang telah atau sedang menempuh mata kuliah Microteaching. Penentuan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert 4 poin. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara Self-efficacy dengan Keaktifan Belajar mahasiswa (r=0,431; p=0,000). Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi Self-efficacy mahasiswa, semakin tinggi pula tingkat keaktifan belajar mereka. Peningkatan Self-efficacy, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran praktik, dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mendorong partisipasi aktif mahasiswa di lingkungan akademik. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang memupuk keyakinan diri dan memberikan ruang untuk keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa sangat penting guna mengoptimalkan kualitas pembelajaran. Self-efficacy, or self-confidence, is a crucial factor influencing student participation and engagement in the learning process, particularly in higher education environments that demand independence. This study aims to identify the relationship between Self-efficacy and active learning among Technology Education students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Self-efficacy in this research is based on Bandura's theory, encompassing belief in one's level, strength, and generality of ability. Active learning, meanwhile, is focused on aspects of oral activity, visual activity, and emotional activity, drawing from the theories of Diedrich and Fredricks. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method, involving 134 Technology Education students from the 2022 and 2023 cohorts who have taken or are currently taking the Microteaching course. Sample determination was conducted using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected using a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire. The analysis, utilizing the Spearman Rank correlation test, revealed a significant positive relationship between Self-efficacy and student active learning (r=0.431; p=0.000). Overall, these findings indicate that the higher students' Self-efficacy, the higher their level of active learning. Enhancing Self-efficacy, especially in the context of practical learning, can serve as an effective strategy for promoting active student participation in the academic environment. Therefore, developing learning strategies that foster self-confidence and provide opportunities for active student engagement is essential for optimizing learning quality.
