Abstract
Pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda, khususnya materi Aksara Sunda, masih menghadapi tantangan rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa akibat sifat materi yang abstrak dan metode konvensional yang monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran flashcard berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Baleendah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen desain Time Series pada satu kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 41 siswa yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pretest dan posttest yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya (Cronbach’s Alpha 0,963). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, homogenitas Levene, uji N-Gain, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan prestasi belajar kategori tinggi dengan nilai N-Gain 0,72. Uji t berpasangan mengonfirmasi perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (p < 0,05) pada aspek mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), dan mengaplikasikan (C3) sesuai Taksonomi Bloom. Media flashcard AR memberikan visualisasi 3D interaktif yang mendukung konstruktivisme dan teori Kerucut Pengalaman Edgar Dale, sehingga memperkuat retensi, pemahaman, dan penerapan materi. Kesimpulannya, flashcard berbasis AR terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa secara menyeluruh dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, kontekstual, serta bermakna, sehingga layak diadopsi sebagai alternatif inovatif pembelajaran Bahasa Sunda. Learning Sundanese, particularly the Sundanese script (Aksara Sunda), still faces challenges due to students’ low interest and limited comprehension, which are influenced by the abstract nature of the material and monotonous conventional teaching methods. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard learning media in improving the learning achievement of 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Baleendah. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental Time Series design with a single experimental group consisting of 41 students selected through cluster random sampling. The research instrument was a pretest–posttest assessment that had been validated and tested for reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.963). Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, N-Gain analysis, and paired sample t-test. The results revealed a high category of learning improvement with an N-Gain value of 0.72. The paired t-test confirmed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05) in the aspects of remembering (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3) based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. The AR flashcard s provided interactive 3D visualizations that supported constructivist learning principles and Edgar Dale’s Cone of Experience theory, thereby enhancing students’ retention, comprehension, and application of the material. In conclusion, AR-based flashcard s are proven to be effective in comprehensively improving students’ cognitive abilities and creating interactive, contextual, and meaningful learning experiences, making them a viable innovative alternative for teaching Sundanese.
