Abstract
Musik sebagai bentuk ekspresi seni memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kreativitas, keterampilan, dan komunikasi. Dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif, alat musik tradisional seperti angklung memiliki potensi besar sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif bagi peserta didik tunanetra. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran musik, khususnya angklung, masih menghadapi berbagai kendala. Sebagian besar metode pengajaran yang digunakan pelatih cenderung visual dan klasikal, sehingga sulit diikuti oleh peserta didik tunanetra. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan panduan pembelajaran musik angklung yang adaptif dan inklusif bagi tunanetra di Bandung Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi di sekolah luar biasa dan komunitas seni yang menyelenggarakan pembelajaran angklung, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik tunanetra memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk mempelajari angklung. Meski demikian, beberapa kendala ditemukan, seperti kesulitan memahami instruksi pelatih yang dominan visual, keterbatasan media pembelajaran aksesibel, tantangan dalam koordinasi motorik, serta kurangnya strategi pengajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tunanetra. Permasalahan tersebut menjadi dasar dikembangkannya buku panduan pembelajaran angklung. Panduan ini memuat strategi berbasis multisensori, teknik instruksi ramah tunanetra, serta model evaluasi reflektif. Kesimpulannya, panduan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai acuan teknis pembelajaran bagi guru, pelatih seni, maupun fasilitator, tetapi juga memiliki implikasi lebih luas, yaitu sebagai bahan ajar, media pelatihan guru, serta sarana advokasi pendidikan inklusif dan pelestarian budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, panduan ini berpotensi meningkatkan aksesibilitas, partisipasi, dan prestasi seni peserta didik tunanetra dalam konteks pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Music as a form of artistic expression plays an essential role in developing creativity, skills, and communication. In the context of inclusive education, traditional musical instruments such as the angklung hold great potential as effective learning media for students with visual impairments. However, in practice, the teaching of music particularly angklung still faces various challenges. Most instructional methods used by trainers remain highly visual and classical in nature, making them difficult for visually impaired learners to follow. This study aims to develop an adaptive and inclusive angklung learning guide for visually impaired students in the Greater Bandung area. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in special schools and art communities that facilitate angklung learning for visually impaired participants, and then analyzed using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings show that visually impaired students demonstrate high motivation to learn angklung. Nevertheless, several obstacles were identified, including difficulties in understanding visually oriented instructions, limited accessible learning media, challenges in motor coordination and pitch transition, as well as insufficient instructional strategies tailored to their needs. These issues form the basis for developing the angklung learning guide. The guide incorporates multisensory strategies, visually impaired–friendly instructional techniques, and reflective evaluation models. In conclusion, the guide not only functions as a technical reference for teachers, art trainers, and facilitators but also has broader implications as teaching material, a medium for teacher training, and an instrument for advocating inclusive education and preserving local culture. Thus, it has the potential to enhance accessibility, participation, and artistic achievement of visually impaired learners in both formal and non-formal educational contexts.
