Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengembangan Courseware Multimedia Interaktif pada Materi Hidrolisis Garam dengan Mengintegrasikan Level Makroskopik, Mikroskopik dan Simbolik”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan produk berupa courseware multimedia interaktif pada materi hidrolisis garam yang mengintegrasikan level makroskopik, mikroskopik dan simbolik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu studi pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan courseware dan tahap akhir penelitian. Pada studi pendahuluan dilakukan identifikasi permasalahan penelitian, studi literatur dan merancang penelitian. Sedangkan pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan penyusunan instrumen penelitian dan kegiatan pengembangan courseware menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pada tahap akhir penelitian dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan tahap-tahap penelitian dan pengembangan yang telah dilakukan, ditarik beberapa kesimpulan, yaitu : 1) Bentuk elemen media untuk level makroskopik ditampilkan dalam bentuk video pengujian sifat larutan garam, foto/gambar contoh dan kegunaan garam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, simulasi pengujian sifat larutan garam dan kuis seputar kegunaan garam. Untuk level mikroskopik ditampilkan dalam bentuk foto/gambar mikroskopik partikel garam dalam larutannya dan animasi mikroskopik ketika garam dilarutkan dalam air (terionisasi, terhidrolisis, terhidrasi). Sedangkan bentuk elemen media untuk level simbolik ditampilkan dalam bentuk teks perhitungan rumus pH larutan garam, 2) Berdasarkan hasil validasi diketahui bahwa courseware ini telah layak dari segi media, materi dan desain instruksional pembelajaran, 3) Hasil ujicoba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa hampir seluruh siswa (79,5%) termotivasi belajar dengan menggunakan courseware multimedia ini, dapat mengontrol courseware dengan sangat baik dan memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap courseware. Kata Kunci : Courseware Multimedia Interaktif, Level Makroskopik, Level Mikroskopik, Level Simbolik, Hidrolisis Garam.   This research entitled "The Development of an Interactive Multimedia Courseware on Hydrolysis of Salts material by Integrating Macroscopic, Microscopic and Symbolic Level". The purpose of this research is to produce an interactive multimedia courseware that integrates macroscopic, microscopic and symbolic level the hydrolysis of salts. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). This research was accomplished in three stages is that preliminary study, courseware development stage and the final stage of research. In a preliminary study was to identify the particular problems, study literature and research design. While in the development stage was to be prepare the research instruments and courseware development activities with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the final stages of the research was to make a conclusion. Based on the research and development stage, it can be concluded as follows : 1) The form of media elements to the macroscopic level is displayed by video of testing properties of salt solutions, photo / image about example and the uses of salt in daily life, a simulation about testing testing properties of salt solutions and quizzes about the usefulness of salt. The microscopic level is displayed in the form of photo/ images of microscopic salt particles in the solution and microscopic animated when salt is dissolved in water (ionized, hydrolyzed, hydrated). While the forms of media elements for the symbolic level is displayed in text about formula calculation pH of salt solution, 2) The multimedia courseware has a very good feasibility in terms of media, in terms of material and in terms of learning. 3) A number of the students are motivated to learn by using this multimedia courseware, which can control courseware very well and give a positive response to the use of courseware.
