    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Android bernama VERBO’S (Verbs Book Online) sebagai sarana pendukung penguasaan kosakata kata kerja Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Sukaraja I Sumedang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket validasi ahli media, angket validasi ahli materi, serta angket respon siswa yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan skala Likert dan secara kualitatif melalui analisis deskriptif. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi VERBO’S termasuk kategori sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan masing-masing 93,75% dan 97,2%. Hasil uji coba kelompok perorangan, kecil maupun kelompok besar juga menunjukkan respon positif dari siswa, dengan rata-rata penilaian berada pada kategori sangat layak. Aplikasi VERBO’S dinilai mampu meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, serta pemahaman siswa melalui fitur interaktif berupa audio pelafalan, flashcards, permainan, dan kuis. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif, menarik, dan relevan dalam mendukung penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar This study aims to develop an Android application-based learning media called VERBO’S (Verbs Book Online) as a supporting tool for mastering English Verb vocabulary in elementary schools. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were 32 fifth-grade students of Sukaraja I Elementary School, Sumedang. The instruments used were a media expert validation questionnaire, a material expert validation questionnaire, and a student response questionnaire which were analyzed quantitatively with a Likert scale and qualitatively through descriptive analysis. The results of the material expert and media expert validation showed that the VERBO’S application was categorized as very feasible with a feasibility percentage of 93,75% and 97.2%, respectively. The results of small and large group trials also showed positive responses from students, with an average assessment in the very feasible category. The VERBO’S application was assessed as being able to increase student motivation, engagement, and understanding through interactive features such as audio pronunciation, flashcards, games, and quizzes. Thus, this application can be an alternative learning media that is effective, interesting, and relevant in supporting English vocabulary mastery in elementary schools.
