    Abstract

    Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kinerja guru yang masih belum sesuai dengan harapan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi di SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada lingkungan kerja dalam pendidikan dan kepuasan kerja yang memediasi antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 84 guru sebagai responden. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) lingkungan kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru; (3) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja; (4) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru; dan (5) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. The problem examined in this study concerns teacher performance, which still does not meet school expectations. This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. The background of this study is based on the work environment in education and job satisfaction, which mediates the relationship between the work environment and performance. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method using a questionnaire distributed to 84 teachers as respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS version 4. The results indicate that: (1) the work environment, job satisfaction, and teacher performance are in the high category; (2) the work environment does not have a direct effect on teacher performance; (3) the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction; (4) job satisfaction has a significant effect on teacher performance; and (5) the work environment's effect on teacher performance is mediated by job satisfaction.
