Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan beberapa aspek tetang karakteristik Situs Keraton Kadriyah, mengkaji pemanfaatan situs Keraton Kadriyah sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah lokal di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, menganalisis penerapan metode karyawisata dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal Situs Keraton Kadriyah di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak, dan menelaah kesadaran sejarah siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal Situs Keraton Kadriyah melalui metode karyawisata di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua tempat yaitu di Situs Keraton Kadriyah dan di SMA Muhammadiyah1 Pontianak pada semester dua tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif naturalistik. Data diperoleh melalui teknik dan instrumen berupa studi observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi simpulan. Hasil penelitian secara umum yaitu Situs Keraton Kadriyah adalah situs Melayu yang sejak pertama berdiri merupakan kerajaan yang bercorak islam. Keraton Kadriyah ini terletak di tepian sungai Kapuas besar. Pemanfaatan sejarah lokal di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak telah dilaksanakan oleh guru meskipun belum maksimal. Situs Keraton Kadriyah sebagai kajian sejarah lokal harus lebih dioptimalkan lagi dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah-sekolah. Pemanfaatan metode karyawisata dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal Situs Keraton Kadriyah di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak ternyata mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar sejarah peserta didik. Kondisi kesadaran sejarah peserta didik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak pada umumnya bervariasi. Beberapa karakter kesadaran sejarah yang ditemukan antara lain munculnya sikap siap menghadapi masa depan, kreatif, menghargai masa lalu, dan semangat kerja keras. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menggambarkan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak dan memberi kontribusi bagi pembelajaran sejarah lokal di daerah Pontianak dan sekitarnya. Selain itu diharapkan mampu memotivasi pihak-pihak terkait mengoptimalkan upaya pelestarian situs Keraton Kadriyah tersebut sekaligus menjadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah-sekolah maupun masyarakat luas. The objectives of these research are to explain some aspect about the characteristic of Keraton Kadriyah sites, and using the sites as the study of local history in Muhammadiyah 1 High School of Pontianak, and also to grow history awareness by studying local history of Keraton Kadriyah sites by using study tour method in Muhammadiyah 1 High School of Pontianak. This research were held in Keraton Kadriyah sites and High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak on second semester 2013/2014. The method of the research is naturalistic qualitative. The datas that been gathered are comes by using technic of observation studied, documentation, interview, and questionnaire. Its use some steps on data analysing, which were data gathering, reduction, data presentation and conclusion verifying. Over all the result of the research said that Keraton Kadriyah is a Malayan Islamic sites which held in the down town of Pontianak city. The research also found that local histories has been used by the teachers of Muhammadiyah High School 1 of Pontianak. Although it is not that much. Keraton Kadriyah sites as local histories study need to be optimized as learning objective in schools. In Muhammadiyah 1 High school of Pontianak, using study tour method in studying local histories obviously increase the passion and willingness of the students to learn more about Keraton Kadriyah sites. The awareness of histories in Muhammadiyah 1 High School's students mostly variated. Some characteristic of histories awareness that been found are the readiness attitude on facing the future, creativity, the honour for the past and spirit to struggle and hard working. The expectation of this research are able to figure out the awareness of students about histories and also to give contribution for local histories study in Pontianak. Furthermore, we expect that the historical study of Keraton Kadriyah sites can be optimized so it can be used as source for everyone to studying local history.
