Abstract
Kemampuan logical thinking menjadi salah satu keterampilan untuk mendukung pembelajaran dan daya saing global di era digital yang menuntut peserta didik beradaptasi dengan cepat. Namun, beberapa studi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan logical thinking peserta didik masih berada pada kategori rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia interaktif dengan model Problem-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D dengan model pengembangan multimedia ADDIE. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 peserta didik kelas XI RPL di SMK BPI Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor antara nilai pretest 56,4 dan post-test 76,9, dengan peningkatan sebesar 20,5. Rata-rata nilai N-Gain menunjukkan skor 0,487 dengan kategori “Sedang” yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pembelajaran. Hasil peningkatan nilai N-Gain dengan kategori “Sedang” juga terlihat pada indikator kemampuan logical thinking dengan rata-rata 0,430. Multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan juga memperoleh tanggapan positif dari peserta didik dengan rata-rata skor 92,55% termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif Logic Base efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran Basis Data dan meningkatkan kemampuan logical thinking peserta didik yang terlihat dari kenaikan nilai N-Gain setelah menggunakan multimedia interaktif. Logical thinking skills are essential to support learning and global competitiveness in the digital era, which requires students to adapt quickly. However, several studies show that students logical thinking skills are still in the low category. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia integrated with the Problem-Based Learning model to enhance students’ logical thinking abilities. The research employed the Research and Development method with the ADDIE multimedia development model. The subjects were 32 eleventh-grade Software Engineering students at SMK BPI Bandung. The results showed an increase in the average score between the pretest (56.4) and post-test (76.9), with a gain of 20.5. The average N-Gain score was 0.487, categorized as “Moderate,” indicating improved learning outcomes. A similar “Moderate” category was also observed in logical thinking indicators, namely coherence of thought, argumentation skills, and drawing conclusions, with an average of 0.430. In addition, the developed interactive multimedia received positive responses from students with an average score of 92.55%, categorized as “Very Good.” These findings indicate that the Logic Base interactive multimedia is effective in supporting database learning and improving students’ logical thinking skills, as evidenced by the increase in N-Gain scores after its use.
