    Abstract

    Kemajuan teknologi abad ke-21 menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang inovatif dan interaktif. Dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka, mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak secara konkret, termasuk materi kebutuhan dan keinginan yang menjadi fondasi literasi finansial dasar siswa. Namun, hasil studi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPAS masih didominasi metode konvensional, minim pemanfaatan media interaktif, dan cenderung kurang menarik bagi siswa. Genially, sebagai platform pembuatan konten interaktif berbasis web, menawarkan potensi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan sesuai karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS Fase B, khususnya materi kebutuhan dan keinginan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen jenis Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di dua sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Cisalak, Kabupaten Subang, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa serta angket untuk menilai respon siswa terhadap media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada kelas eksperimen yang dibuktikan melalui uji Paired Sample T-Test (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05) dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,6229 (kategori sedang). Pada kelas kontrol, uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test juga menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05), namun dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,2393 (kategori rendah). Uji Mann-Whitney U mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05). Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Genially terbukti efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS Fase B materi kebutuhan dan keinginan. The technological advancements of the 21st century demand that the education sector adapt by utilizing innovative and interactive technology-based learning media. Within the context of the Kurikulum Merdeka, the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) requires a learning approach capable of concretely visualizing abstract concepts, including the topic of needs and wants, which serves as the foundation of students’ basic financial literacy. However, field studies reveal that IPAS learning is still dominated by conventional methods, with minimal use of interactive media, making it less engaging for students. Genially, a web-based platform for creating interactive content, offers potential to design learning experiences that are more engaging, interactive, and aligned with students’ characteristics. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Genially-based interactive learning media in improving students’ understanding of IPAS for Phase B, particularly the topic of needs and wants. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The participants were fourth-grade students from two public elementary schools in Cisalak District, Subang Regency, divided into experimental and control groups. The research instruments consisted of pretest and posttest assessments to measure students’ understanding, as well as a questionnaire to evaluate students’ responses to the media. The findings indicate a significant improvement in the experimental class, as evidenced by the Paired Sample T-Test (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05) with an average N-Gain of 0.6229 (medium category). In the control class, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test also showed a significant improvement (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), but with an average N-Gain of 0.2393 (low category). The Mann-Whitney U test indicated a significant difference between the two classes (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, Genially-based interactive learning media is proven to be effective in enhancing students’ understanding in IPAS Phase B, specifically in the topic of needs and wants.
