Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan berbantuan multimedia interaktif Teori Asam Basa untuk memfasilitasi penguasaan konsep peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian 3 dosen pendidikan kimia dan 1 guru kimia sebagai validator soal serta 33 peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Penelitian ini diawali dengan menganalisis karakteristik multimedia interaktif Teori Asam Basa sebagai dasar dalam menentukan model pembelajaran yang paling sesuai melalui kajian sintaks dari beberapa model pembelajaran. Keterlaksanaan model tersebut kemudian dinilai berdasarkan hasil observasi dan dokumentasi selama proses belajar, termasuk rekaman video dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Sementara itu, data mengenai penguasaan konsep peserta didik diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan 8 soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi (apk) terdiri dari teori asam basa Arrhenius, teori asam basa Bronsted-Lowrey dan teori asam basa Lewis dengan meliputi tiga fitur multimedia yakni teks, simulasi, dan animasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, model pembelajaran yang paling sesuai dengan karakteristik multimedia interaktif ini adalah model Predict–Observe–Explain (POE). Keterlaksanaan model POE selama pembelajaran dengan multimedia interaktif menunjukkan bahwa tahap predict, observe dan explain dapat dilaksanakan sepenuhnya. Penggunaan simulator dengan pendekatan model POE memiliki kontribusi dalam mendukung penguasaan konsep peserta didik, peningkatan penguasaan konsep terjadi pada keempat tujuan pembelajaran. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia-assisted learning of acid-base theory in facilitating students' mastery of the concept. The research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research participants were three chemistry education lecturers and one chemistry teacher as question validators, as well as 33 students as research subjects. This research began with analyzing the characteristics of interactive multimedia on acid-base theory as a basis for determining the most appropriate learning model through a syntactic study of several learning models. The implementation of the model was then assessed based on the results of observations and documentation during the learning process, including video recordings and Student Worksheets (LKPD). Meanwhile, data on students' mastery of concepts was obtained through pre-tests and post-tests using 8 multiple-choice questions. The results of the study indicate that interactive multimedia-based applications (APKs) consist of Arrhenius acid-base theory, Bronsted-Lowrey acid-base theory, and Lewis acid-base theory, covering three multimedia features, namely text, simulation, and animation. Based on the analysis results, the learning model that best suits the characteristics of this interactive multimedia is the Predict–Observe–Explain (POE) model. The implementation of the POE model during learning with interactive multimedia shows that the predict, observe, and explain stages can be fully implemented. The use of simulators with the POE model approach contributes to supporting students' mastery of concepts, with an increase in concept mastery occurring in all four learning objectives.
