Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi MEGADIK (Mengklasifikasi Gaya di Sekitar Kita) sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi klasifikasi gaya pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep gaya pada siswa akibat penerapan pembelajaran yang masih bersifat tradisional, cenderung monoton, serta minimnya penggunaan teknologi dalam proses belajar, penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang mencangkup tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 41 siswa kelas IV SDN Kondang O 1, dengan guru kelas sebagai responden tambahan. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket validasi ahli media serta angket validasi ahli materi menyatakan bahwa aplikasi MEGADIK termasuk kategori pemahaman siswa yang terlihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest 56,4 menjadi 85,7 pada posttest. Uji N-gain menghasilkan skor 0,68, termasuk katagori cukup. Yang menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektifdalam membantu siswa memahami konsep gaya. Aplikasi MEGADIK memuat materi interaktif, kuis penilaian, serta permainan edukatifyang disertai animasi dan audio-visual menarik, sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi MEGADIK untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dapat menjadi media altematif pembelajaran IPA yang inovatif, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. Serta layak diterapkan secara lebih luas di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, IPA, Klasifikasi Gaya, ADDIE This research aims to develop learning media based on the MEGADIK application (Classifying Styles Around Us) as a means to improve students' understanding of style classification materials in elementary school grade IV science subjects. This research is motivated by the low understanding ofstyle concepts in students due to the application oflearning that is still traditional, tends to be monotonous, and the lack of use of technology in the learning process, the research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects involved 41 grade IV students of SDN Kondang OJ, with classroom teachers as additional respondents. Data obtained through interviews, media expert validation questionnaires and material expert validation questionnaires stated that the MEGADIK application is included in the category of student understanding as seenfrom the average pretest score of56.4 to 85. 7 in the posttest. The N-gain test resulted in a score of 0. 68, including the category of sufficient. Which shows that this app is effective in helping students understand the concept of style. The MEGADIK application contains interactive materials, assessment quizzes, and educational games accompanied by interesting animations and audio• visuals, so as to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. The implication of this study is that the development ofMEGADIK's application-based learning media to improve students' understanding can be an innovative, interactive, andfun alternative media for science learning.
