    Abstract

    Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains dasar siswa SMP, khususnya dalam aspek mengamati, mengklasifikasi, dan memprediksi, masih menjadi persoalan yang menghambat kualitas pembelajaran IPA. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep-konsep sains karena keterbatasan metode pengajaran yang masih dominan bersifat konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Lumi Education dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen melalui desain Non-equivalent Control Group. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan video interaktif Lumi Education, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan media PowerPoint interaktif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test yang dirancang berdasarkan indikator keterampilan proses sains. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok, di mana kelas eksperimen memperoleh peningkatan lebih tinggi. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sedang hingga tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Lumi Education efektif dalam mengoptimalkan keterampilan proses sains dasar siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis multimedia yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik abad ke-21. The low mastery of basic science process skills among junior high school students, particularly in observing, classifying, and predicting, remains a major challenge in science learning. Many students face difficulties in understanding scientific concepts due to the dominance of conventional teaching methods that provide limited interactive experiences. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Lumi Education-based interactive learning videos in enhancing students’ science process skills. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Non-equivalent Control Group Design was applied. The experimental class used Lumi Education interactive videos, while the control class applied interactive PowerPoint media. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests developed according to indicators of science process skills. The analysis results revealed a significant difference between the two groups, with the experimental class showing greater improvement. The average N-Gain of the experimental group was categorized as moderate to high. These findings confirm that Lumi Education-based interactive videos are effective in optimizing students’ basic science process skills. This study contributes to the development of multimedia-based learning models that are adaptive to the needs of 21st-century learners.
