Abstract

Keterampilan sosial merupakan modal dasarbagi peserta didik dalam mengembangkan belajar mandiri-nya baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah.Terdapat tiga keterampilan sosial yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kemampuan memperoleh informasi, kemampuan berkomunikasi dan kemampuan bekerjasama. Ketiga keterampilan sosial tersebut dilatihkan melalui penerapan metode cooperative learning tipe two stay two stray pada pembelajaran geografi di Kelas XI-C1 SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. Model cooperative learningmenuntut peserta didik untuk berinteraksi secara aktif dalam melakukan pambelajaran secara berkelompok. Selain itu, metode two stay two stray memiliki stuktur kegiatan yang dapat secara maksimal melatih keterampilan sosial yang dimaksud.Metode penelitan yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian tindakan kelas model John Elliot. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan satu siklus dengan tiga kali tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik Kelas XI-C1 SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi dan analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga kali tahapan yaitu reduksi data, beberan (display) datadan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1)Proses pembelajaran metode twostay two stray dikategorikan sangat baik dengan persentase tindakan ke-satu 90,9%, tindakan ke-dua 100%, dan tindakan ke-tiga 100%. (2) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan memperoleh informasi pada setiap tindakan di kelas XI-C1 dengan selisih peningkatan skor untuk tindakan ke-satu ke tindakan ke-dua yaitu 1 dan tindakan ke-dua ke tindakan ke-tiga yaitu 1. (3) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berkomunikasi pada setiap tindakan di kelas XI-C1 dengan selisih peningkatan skor untuk tindakan ke-satu ke tindakan ke-dua yaitu 10, dan tindakan dua ke tindakan ke-tiga yaitu 5. (4)Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan bekerjasama pada setiap tindakan di kelas XI-C1 dengan selisih peningkatan skor untuk tindakan ke-satu ke tindakan ke-dua yaitu 6, dan tindakan ke-dua ke tindakan ke-tiga yaitu 6. Pada akhir tindakan, indikator keberhasilan penelitian telah tercapai, yaitu 89% atau 41 peserta didik memiliki keterampilan sosial. Disimpulkan bahwa,penerapan metode cooperative learning tipe two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik di kelas XI-C1 SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. Social skill is the basic skill for students in their self learning both in school and outside of school. There are three social skills referred to in this research, that is the ability to obtain information, communication skills and the ability to cooperate. These three social skillsis trainedthrough the implementation of cooperative learning methods type two stay two stray on learning geography in Class XI-C1 SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. Model of cooperative learning, demandedstudents to actively interact in learning process in group. In addition two stay two stray method hasactivity structure that can be maximally train social skills. Research method used is the John Eliot model of study class action method. In this research, performed one cycle with three times class action. The Subject is student of XI-C1 Class of SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung. Instrument in this study is the observation sheet and the analysis data is performed with three stages, that is data reduction, displayof data, and drawing conclusions. The result showed that: (1) Implementation of learning process with two stay two stray method was very good, with the percentage of first actions is 90.9%, the second action is 100% and third action is 100%. (2) There is an improvement of ability to obtain information on any action in class XI-C1, with the difference in improvement scores for first action to second action is 1 and second action to third action is 1. (3) There is an improvement of ability to communicate with each act in XI - C1 class with the difference in improvement scores for first action to second action is 10 and second action to third action action is 5. (4) There is an improvement of ability to cooperate with each action in XI-C1 class, with the difference in improvement scores for the first action to second action is 6and second action to third action is 6. At the final action, succes indicator of the research has achieved which is 89% or 41 students have social skill. Conclusionis, the implementation of cooperative learning methods type two stay two stray can improve social skills of students in class XI-C1 SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung.
